Both shows are hilarious but I gotta go with Family Guy. I admit, sometimes they do go overboard with the flashbacks but a lot of them are funny. South Park is funny too but sometimes they go overboard too. I also liked South Park's episode about Family Guy.

Thats because Matt and Trey invinted a new way of animation for south park after season 2 I think. I revolutionized animation it only takes them a week to animate where as Family guy takes much longer.

Family Guy just has the random things that r sooo funny. South Park is great but when a new season comes out every other episode is funny. one week hysterical next week i laugh once or twice.
Robot Chicken is really funny too.

Yah, tonight's South Park was crap. I didn't laugh once... not even a chuckle.
That's another thing about Family Guy, whatever you think of the writing style, the show has an uncanny consistency.

I personally love both shows, they're definately my #1 and #2 favorite shows. But, if I had to choose one, South Park would get the nod for sure. It seems to be the more mature series, everyone episode following a theme of current events, while Family Guy is more random and all over the place with no virtual plot. However, family guy is a lot funnier high.

You have to be from Rhode Island to trully get all the jokes in Family Guy. There are so many times that they mention something or you see something int he background that only Rhode Islanders would know. It really brings a whole other angle to the laughs for me.
I like South park... don't love it. Family Guy I can't live without.

I like family guy as a while better. Although put the best episode of Family Guy (Petoria) and the best episode of South Park (Woodland Critter Christmas) I would take Woodland Critter Christmas.
