There in no position to win just like we were last year with out a quarterback. But anything is possible. 7 or less is my vote.

Seven wins would be considered a good turnaround.

I don't really care about how many wins they have, as long as they look like a football team, instead of just a bunch of guys in helmets. I can't take that crap anymore.

9-7 is possible considering we barely lost games last year when we had a horrible team... If we improve our D, and obviously the O-line, we can have a great season... It's not hard to win the AFC North...

Cowboy 73 nice reporting yesterday with the 15 million crap you were way off...we actually gave Baxter less guaranteed money than you gave Henry and Baxter is way better than Henry and 2 years younger.

i think 9-7 is too much. Browns have no QB, weak RB, and not a top 10 defense.

I acutally think the AFC north will be one of the tougher divisions, the Browns have made great strides towards improving, the Bengals look like they are on the verge of having a top 5 offense, Ravens may have finaly ignited their offense to go with the great defense and the steelers went 15-1 last season and have shown no reason why they wont do the same next season. AFC North will be very tough. How can you say that when a team went 15-1?

hmm... Ben Roethlisberger sucks? plus he wont have Plaxico... Hines Ward is old... It's just so hard to tell who's gonna win... The freakin Bungals could win it next year...

Idiot???If I we're you I would stay away from thet sight it gives false information...the signing bonus was 10.5 million and and the contract was for 30 million over 6 years...all in all a better deal for the team then the one Henry signed with you and Baxter is still younger and better...Idiot!!!LOL

That has to be one of the worst arguments i have ever seen. Hmmmm lets see Ben Roethlisberger only had the best rookie season of all time going 14-1, and you have the nerve to say Ben Roetlisberger sucks??? whats wrong with you, the Browns would kill for a QB like Big Ben. So what if he wont have Plaxico, they were undeafeted without him, Randal El is a fine replacement for him. Plax is over rated. How can you say Hines is old the guy is what 28? 29? Hes only a 7 year vet, thats young for a WR. Again, the browns would kill to have a guy like Hines. you need to seriously reconsider your post.

Big Ben got lucky... I guarantee that the Steelers wont do nearly as well as last year... He's not gonna be the next great QB... I dont care what anyone says.... We'll just have to wait and see wont we?

Please refrain from namecalling. The webmaster doesn't like that.

"Terms will be announced later, but this is a shocker. Baxter will replace Anthony Henry in Cleveland's lineup and likely got close to a $15 million signing bonus."

Key word is "likely". That is based on opinion, not fact. Hardly grounds to call someone a name on. Let's raise the maturity level a bit, fellas.

The reason, as reported in the Baltimore Sun, as to why Baxter signed with Cleveland is because Gary and the Ravens had a verbal agreement with them for an $11M signing bonus. But when Baxter read the contract before he signed it (smart guy, like him already), he saw the number "7" where there should have been an "11". Four million dollars is a lot of money to try and sneak off the table when you think the other guy isn't looking. I would get pissed and sign with a division rival, too.
