Eric Ebron or Jack Doyle?

This is a deep keeper league. 16 teams, 9 keepers each, 23 roster spots. I have my plan pretty well set, except I'm torn at TE.

I like Ebron more. Colts will probably run 2 TE sets with Swoope. Doyle will be frustrating.

I was kinda thinking this too, I think Swoope is a nice sleeper in deeper leagues. But I've had Ebron since his rookie year, and he has been frustrating too.

Doyle. His relationship with Luck is stronger than Ebron's is with Stafford. I trust Doyle to produce in the red zone, too, whereas Ebron is always going to be a headache.

How can he dig a hole if he's too busy sitting on his hands?

See I think Indy has a better QB, and has receivers the secondary has to respect. That'll give Doyle more room to operate. Defenses will key on Ebron more than they will Doyle.

On the other hand, Ebron is as physically gifted as any TE in the league, he just hasn't put it all together. He has improved every year though. Doyle kinda came out of nowhere, and Indy doesn't seem to put much stock into keeping their TEs around.

Either way I'm probably looking at TE relatively early in the draft

Probably could get Njoku or Engram in the mid-teens. Howard should be gone by 7 or 8. Shaheen is a bit of a sleeper.

Doyle just got paid. Indy likes him (read: Luck likes him).

I would take Ebron here. Doyle edged out Ebron in PPR leagues by 3 points on the season but also played in 3 more games. Ebron had better per-game averages in everything except TDs, and even without the TDs finished with more top 12 finishes than Doyle (6 to 5). He's probably going to see more targets than Doyle, and he's more athletic. Even though Dwayne Allen is gone, I don't see but maybe 15 extra targets for Doyle next year, especially with the organization liking Swoope, the addition of Aiken, and the return of Moncrief.
