Pretty clearly a middle finger to the Royals, Giants, and every other team that DD has presumably talked to about trading for a third baseman. It could also be a showcase for the purpose of dealing Devers in a larger deal. Either way, this is an interesting twist in the trade deadline saga. Can't wait to see how Devers does. He'll bet the second stud prospect in our system to debut in Seattle in as many seasons (Benny).

Looking forward to seeing Devers with the Red Sox. Hopefully it will solve the team's problems at 3rd base.

Did the new site crap out for anybody else just now? I keep getting "currently unavailable" when I try to get in.

John Gibbons ejected , couple pitches later Stroman and Russell Martin ejected. This punk umpire Will Little has no business as a big league umpire

Yeah. A little power hungry. He should be embarressed. Gibbons may have deserved it but Stroman just stared his direction then Martin just got up to defend his picture. Hope he gets a little punishment from his bosses. Maybe that will knock him down a peg and maybe realize that he isnt the top of the totum pole.

Will Little is an embarrassment. Still got the sweep though.

What a game for the Nationals yesterday. 5 home runs in 6 at bats. Awesome for sure from the team.
