As we all know this ridiculous case is still open. Well anyways lots of rumors swirling around the last 2 days about a suspension coming.

https://twitter.com/MichaelRapaport/status/885605632119717888

^ seems not credible but worth posting I guess...

Growing sense Elliott faces short suspension Adam Schefter is hearing that while the investigation is still ongoing, Ezekiel Elliott is bracing for a short suspension stemming back to his alleged domestic violence incident in 2016.

^ Adam Schefter on ESPN seems more credible

Anyways, just wanted to get a thread going on this...I'll be mad at any suspension, but if there is one it better not be for more than 1/2 games tops...

Became increasingly evident Zeke was getting suspended. NFL simply wasn't going to let this go no matter how sketchy the facts were.

What about Michael Floyd, Tyreek Hill, Frank Clark and all those guys?

Or do they get off because they aren't Cowboys?

I can't see the player's union accepting this. Charge(s) dropped. No video. BTW, still waiting on the Dez video.

This would be an absolute load of [inappropriate/removed] if he gets suspended. There is not a shred of evidence showing anything happened and no charges were filed. Not to mention, weren't texts shown from this girl saying she made the entire thing up just to get back at him?

No way can they suspend him for this.

If they do, they are effectively saying they can discipline someone based on a accusation. No need for evidence.

Moz, bad teams pick in the top 5.That's the way the draft works.

You would think, based on a number of factors. Like how he wasn't in the NFL when this happened (Tyreek Hill/Joe Mixon), how all the evidence points to him being innocent, and how you've been probing for over a year and still haven't found anything. But, overlord Goodell...

This whole process has been a joke. NFL has it in for Zeke for whatever reason. Absolutely zero evidence that he did what he was accused of based on the facts that came out.

Could be a simple 1-game suspension. You know, to preserve the image of the league and let Elliott know his tomfoolery will not be taken lightly.

Oh, and so we don't get him for the Giants, who are owned by John Mara. That too.

The NFL has it in against the Cowboys because Goodell is Mara's monkey boy.

If Elliott gets suspended Jerry needs to go full on Al Davis in his prime and defend his player and take the league on. Don't be the good soldier and accept this. The authorities investigating have turned up absolutely nothing against Zeke. This is a Mara driven witch hunt.

All we ever hear about is how Jerry has all this influence, yada yada...yet this kind of crap has been ongoing for months.

I wouldn't even wait for Zeke to get suspended, I'd be pulling all the strings to ensure Goodell loses his job if this didn't end now.

I hear Mara is behind all of this. Just trying to get him suspended for at least week 1.

My comment was tongue in cheek, but reading through this thread I see some of you are actually blaming Mara. Laughing Is he to blame for the other suspensions you have across the d-line as well?

A team that puts no emphasis on quality of character is naturally going to have players that get suspended. This is the same guy that pulled down a woman's shirt in public recently. It doesn't take an active imagination to believe what this guy is being accused of. He should've been suspended four games just for his draft day attire.

And let's face it, it's not like the Giants had any trouble beating the Cowboys will Elliot last year. Snacks Harrison hungry. Feed the man.
