I was just talking about this with a friend, Trout would be one, then who? Young players under team control are obviously the most valuable, but I'm not sure who I would choose.

Fangraphs is actually working on a list of this Laughing their annual one.

http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/2017-trade-value-41-to-50/

Mookie Betts, Correa, Seager, Kris Bryant, Judge - some obvi answers.

Goldschmidt Altuve good options because of how little they get paid their quality

I'd guess Correa.

Seager, Bellinger, Judge, and Lindor all up there too.

One of the good young infielders with a lot of team control left. Correa, Lindor, Bryant, Seager, etc.

No consideration for Gary Sanchez? I know he was injured early, but his bat at a premier position for even 5 years will be insanely valuable.

Trout, Judge, Seager, but I'd take Arenado over all of them if I had the option.

I'm rolling with Carlos Correa here. 22 year old cost controlled MVP candidate at a traditionally premium position. You can't be a much more valuable asset than that.

Arenado is a really really good player, but Mike Trout is essentially already a hall of famer, Lindor, Seager, and Correa are younger and play a more premium position, and Bryant is better and younger than Nolan. And then you've got Betts, Goldy, Rizzo, etc as well.

I've got no issues anyone else taking anyone you listed. I'm just saying based off what I've seen watching majority NL West games I think Arenado over the last 2-3 years has been one of the best overall players in baseball and is still ascending as a player. Goldschmidt is dope too but he's already 29. Correa and Lindor are insane but too small of a sample size still to say they're Trout level. Seager I hate cause he's in LA, but he's there with Correa with not enough time for him to have to adjust to pitchers who adjust to him.

Trout is an option too, and Judge while he's got a small sample size too is not human and is from NorCal so i like him more. Arenado at 26 with his 4th year of Arb. eligible in 2019 makes him my guy I'd trade the most for.

After last night, Aaron Judge tbh. Regardless of the sample size or whether there are better young players, he is now the most marketable player in the league without a doubt, is playing at a 10+ WAR level, and is under control for six years. People will pay money to watch him take batting practice.
