I know ILB is always a touchy subject but I think the Pack should take a look at bringing Zach Orr in. If he can be/stay healthy he could be a huge addition to this defense.

Given that he has a bad neck and GB historically shys away from those guys, I'd say it isn't going to happen.
Add to it Ryan, Martinez, Ryan and Jones and there really isn't room for him.

I'd imagine that's the response from most.

If the doc said he can go without worries of anything major, I'm doing it all day. But that's likely not the case.

Probably so. Let's see what happens. He was being checked out by IND today I believe.

uh, not sure he's "done" if he's getting a ton of interest from teams and doctors feel like he can still play

I think GB should definitely look into him, he's way better than what we have at that position

Given the situation, there is going to be a bidding war. Someone is going to overbid and I'd rather it not be the Packers.

Haven't been paying attention. Do we have confirmation NFL doctors are clearing him? If NFL guys aren't signing off, it doesn't mean [inappropriate/removed] that civilian doctors are.

Leaving aside the neck injury, if the reports are even remotely true that 10-15 teams have expressed an interest in Orr, I can't Imagine him landing in GB.

My feeling is only a couple of teams are likely to even consider Orr, no matter how good he is. The guy had a real career ending neck injury, so to think TT might touch him is absurd. Too bad because Orr is a very very good football player, then again so were Nick Collins and Jermicheal Finley.

As you know, GB is cautious when it comes to neck injuries.
Given that he does have a neck condition, he is not better than anyone on our roster right now.
If it turns out that he doesn't have a neck condition, then he is better than most listed, although I think Jones has the potential to be better.
I'd rather roll with the guys we have than take a flier on a kid with a neck condition. Heck, we don't know what Martinez is yet, if he gets a second year bump like Ryan did, that kid could be quite good too.

But I get it, Orr is the shiny new object out there. Fans want their "precious".
