Is Julian Green the chosen one again? Hat trick against Inter today already.

He's not in his 30s nor on his last legs, so, no he is not chosen by Klinsy.

So Lynden Gooch has sorta come out of nowhere to put in a couple of solid shifts for Sunderland thus far - was their MOTM yesterday vs. Middlesborough:

Nothing flashy or spectacular in his game but has a good engine and solid delivery on his right foot. Guessing Jurgen will call him in soon, in our current setup I could see him pushing either Bedoya or Zardes for playing time if he keeps it up.

Dempsey won't be available for the upcoming qualifiers due to undergoing tests in Seattle for an irregular heartbeat.

Good thing Jozy is rounding into form and Aron started against Bayern today. We'll have some quality depth behind Wondo.

That's a pretty impressive goal with the defender right on his hip.

At this point, can we really get mad that Wondolowski makes a roster? He's the equivalent of a cockroach: you cannot get rid of him no matter what you do.

Brooks out with a back injury. Interestingly, Sacha Kljestan has been called up as a result.

That's a weird swap of players, but I'm not going to complain about Sacha being included, he's earned it.

No no, it's "How is this still a thing? Chris Wondolowski on US Men's National Team"

I so would love to have the guy from John Oliver's show record that phrase.
