Transfers today

Ake to Bournemouth - 20m
Mooey to Huddersfield - 8m

Biggest Rumours

Liverpool chasing Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Robertson
Everton close to signing Keane from Burnley and will complete the signing of Sandro on Monday
Bayern have ruled out a move for Sanchez
Barça are chasing Verrati with Herrera as a long shot plan B
United are linked with absolutely everyone, again
Huddersfield are already preparing for life in the Championship in 2018 by bidding for Tom Ince

Don't suppose we could interest them in Smalling, Jones or Rojo Laughing

Lindelhof for 30m is looking like a tidy bit of business with the numbers Chelsea are being quoted.

Was about to say something like that, they have pretty much wasted all of their PL money so far. Even bigger credit to Howe for keeping them up quite comfortably.

Maybe. Just not technically good enough.

I prefer Manolas over Rudiger

They've been unlucky too, Max Grade, Callum Wilson and Tyrone Mings all suffered terrible injuries.

David Ornstein: #AFC made Sanchez big offer, hope he stays. But if set on leaving + fee acceptable possible he'll go this summer rather than free next #MCFC

David Ornstein: Worth pointing out that as things stand Arsenal still yet to receive any offers for Sanchez, Wenger planning with him in the team #AFC #MCFC

Don't sell him to City ffs

That would be very spineless of Wenger/Arsenal if they actually give in and sell to City.

Unless City are offering utterly ludicrous money (i.e. the kind of money you'd expect for a player of Alexis' caliber with 3+ years remaining on his contract), I really don't see the point in selling him within the PL... like at all.

If he goes on a free to another PL team then he goes on a free - not much you can really do about that. But he's not out there demanding a sale, he's just said (allegedly - and the only thing that's actually been confirmed from Alexis' mouth is that he's letting his agent handle this whole ordeal) he's not signing a new contract right now. So let him play out the contract he's on and let the chips fall where they may. At the very least then you've got more time to plan/scout, perhaps even negotiate the deal and begin to transition in the January window, a replacement. You also have the benefit of a player like Alexis Sanchez to get your club back into CL qualification and the player that's leaving you to go to (presumably) City is a year older, a year more worn down, and would be going to City coming off what would likely be an active and lengthy World Cup campaign, thus presenting at least a somewhat more diminished threat than were he to go this summer.
