You re-sign core players when you're building a winner. Gabe Jackson is a core player. It's that simple.

I'm starting to feel like Oakland has the most overrated offense in the NFL.

6th most yards and 7th most points last year. We added Marshawn Lynch, Cook and Patterson and only lost Murray. Should be better than last year.

How come? I think our Offensive talent is very obvious to most fans.

-One of the better young QB's in Carr
-Elite interior line (Osemele and Hudson are top 5 players at their position, Jackson top 15 at worst)
-An aging but solid Penn at LT who only gave up one sack least year
-Cooper and Crabs are a top 10 WR tandem, with Patterson and Roberts providing decent depth
-Olawale is a decent playmaking FB
-Lynch is a question mark at RB, but Richard and Washington showed flashes last year in limited time
-Cook looks to be the dynamic receiving TE that Carr has never had. Big upgrade over Walford

The only major starting weaknesses on O is RT, LT if Penn declines rapidly, the lack of a rock solid and proven RB, and maybe TE if Cook doesn't focus. I don't think anything I just said is crazy by any means.

Do you not agree?

Over-simplifying things like this just makes you seem like a bitter fan of a rival team.

Yeah not sure why he feels the need to run his mouth. His team had a chance to be Super Bowl contenders this year and instead only focused on the future. 2 1st round picks on a kid that wont be ready for several years and a 2nd rounder on a project DE. Instead of getting players that can help put them over the top this year, they now will miss their window of opportunity.

I am not crazy about the Jackson deal, but I am happy that we have players in our own system to pay now. Its a far cry from where we came from just a few years ago. Now if we can just start getting as many solid players on D as our O has we will be very good.

Guys, I heard that from a Raiders fan! Laughing

I actually think it was a decent move despite the broken leg

This excuse doesn't even justify the post to me, Chiefer. Just not a good look.

meh, it's the truth not an excuse.

I actually really liked Gabe Jackson since the draft. I think him vs Chris Jones is gonna be an epic battle between former Bulldogs

theyre rivals, and it's the offseason.

I've heard worse from Raiders fans.

I think sub-par trolling will get you roasted, and rightfully so. If you're gonna troll, at least take the Ruskie subtlety approach.

I didn't really mind it that much. All my hostile afc west interaction is on twitter. But usually I can't take it for more than a few minutes before the stupidity kills me.

that defeats the purpose though IMO. OG trolling ain't trying to hide if they trolling. Ruskie doing his own thing though so I dig it.

Roasted though? The reaction is the best part! I'm a chiefs fan we roast ourselves regularly. Draft a QB for the first time in 80 years and fire the guy who did it. Laughing

He's not really backpedalling. Honestly, i don't see what the huge deal is. It's whatever, you guys shouldn't make a huge deal out of it.

Anyway, football wise, don't people know that Oakland's interior OL allowed a grand total of 0 sacks last year? You pay to keep that together, that's unreal.
