Expect Fournette and Davis to be gone.

It's a dynasty PPR league.

I'm leaning towards Mixon.

Looking for as much input for each as possible.

I think I'd go Mixon. He has Le'Veon-like pass catching potential.

I feel like McCaffrey has the higher floor, so I would lean in that direction.

I think you have to base your decision on whether or not you are able to compete for a title this year... Cincys offensive line is not going to be very good this year

McCaffery has 50 receptions in him as a rookie, but whether Carolina opts for that kind of attack remains to be seen. I peg C-Mac as a top-3 dynasty player both near and long-term; in PPR formats, he has an argument for no. 1. He's looking at a body of work that will put him in the top-20 producing RBs, something like 1,300 total yards and 8-9 touchdowns. Problem is, I see Stewart getting goal line touches, and Funchess/Olsen/Benjamin getting red zone looks. McCaffery almost just fills in the voids, but he's such a weapon he'll likely have a high usage rate.

Mixon is a top-5 selection but as chisox alluded to, the offensive line is in poor shape, and he faces competition for touches. Bernard will be in the fold when he returns; Hill has a place on most rosters; and Dalton will be throwing more this year due to the first issue mentioned. Green-Lafell-Boyd-Ross-Eifert represents a lot of looks. Mixon could have gone to Detroit or Philadelphia or somewhere where'd he be the feature back out of the gate; unfortunately Cincinnati has a lot of mouths to feed.

As far as PPR goes, he has a ton of upside in that department, but his usage won't be where you'd want.

How can you not consider the risk involved in Mixon. The guy is trouble...so for dynasty purposes, McCaffrey makes a ton more sense.

Not sure if you think I'm talking a regular draft or not... but this is a dynasty rookie draft.

No I mean why even bother with the .03 in the scoring system? A receiver would have to get 34 catches for those 0.03 additional points to add up to one extra point.

Just never saw a scoring format that uses decimals that small

Haha....

You guys got me leaning towards McCaffrey a bit. I'm not as worried about Mixons off the field stuff. Definitely a little to worry about his character issues but think he'll stay out of trouble.

It's not a "need" this year for a title. I have a good team and actually traded up from 1.07 cause I wanted one of the top 3 RBs, or Davis...

I lean CMac in PPR because I think he'll catch more passes. He's got the higher floor. The upside play is Mixon. The Le'Veon comps make some sense

To answer the question though I don't think you can go wrong here. Lean McCaffery
