I just noticed a pretty crazy stat.

18 Freshman were picked in the 1st round
1 Freshman picked in the 2nd round.

There is no incentive for top recruits to stay more than a year in college anymore

dude it's crazy that cameron oliver went undrafted.

And now he's a Rocket. I'm pumped, he will almost assuredly be on the opening night roster ahead of someone like Isaiah Taylor or Kyle Wiltjer.

I am just so happy for Sterling Brown. He's going to be perfect for Milwaukee, Brogdon-esque.

As soon as I saw Berman and Woj tweet we signed Oliver as an UDFA i thought he will make this team. He adds something we sorely lack and thats rebounding. He has a role on this team.

idk about that. Miles Bridges will go top 5 next year. He was projected to go from like 9 to 15ish this year.

Its not that there is no incentive (cause if you get better you will get drafted higher depending on the drafts), its that the downside and probably more realistic scenario of not showing improvement destroys your draft stock (ala Ivann Rabb).

Just kind of looking ahead at who could actually be a viable landing spot for Bell... he definitely fits Thibs' mold that he likes.

Just saw... sonnuva. Now I have to hate him.

I should just not watch NBA drafts. Even when the Clippers don't have picks for Doc to mess up, the draft still finds ways to do me dirty.

Evans is a good pick-up for y'all.

Yeah, I'm just still bitter that the pick that we had to give up in order to salary dump Jared Dudley turned into the 3 that the Clippers have needed for years... except for the Raptors. Mad

Grieves Vasquez what a guy. What a trade Norman Powell and OG.

Rockets signed Oliver, LJ Peak, and Erik McCree. Damn, all three of those guys could make the roster.

With the Rookie wage scale in place now, waiting till your 22-23 to enter the league is stupid when players your same age can cash in on their 2nd contract like Moe Harkless did.

Does anyone have a good website or tracker to see where UDFA's sign?

Why didn't Jonathan Motley get drafted?

I'd be willing to be that half of those players wouldn't have been first round picks if they could've been drafted from high school, at a minimum.

It was rumored a few teams had Jackson at the top.

Bill Simmons has destroyed Lauri this week, and I'm not okay with it. Was even called the Finnish Andrea Bargnani. Smh
