Well, it looks like Michael Floyd's career with the Vikings may be over before the season even starts. He tested positive for alcohol, which is a big "no-no" while under house arrest, as he is.

Some people are just not too bright.

If he's under house arrest, how did he even get it? Shocked

He lives in a house with a driveway, not a castle with a moat.

Hey Nacho, they made you a Mod! Cool!

As for how he got it, I had an aunt who was an alcoholic and I remember her saying that alcoholics will always find a way. She said she used to have bottles and flasks hidden around the house.

We've tried everything else. I think the only option left is Tim Tebow.

Well, that's annoying. He's the reason we didn't take a shot at Maclin.

Eric Decker time? He went to UMN.

How does this impact the Vikings from a football standpoint ?

They still ought to be okay at receiver, shouldn't they? I mean, they've got that Thielen guy, who's pretty good; they've got a former first-round pick, Laquon Treadwell, of whom a resurgent second year after his redshirt rookie season can rightly be expected; and they have Stefon Diggs. So-?

So he's not allowed to drink a legal drink in his own house?

I don't understand this law.

It was part of his sentence. He made a deal for probation. It's basically "We won't put you in prison if you follow this particular set of rules for 90 days, which include not drinking alcohol". He broke the rules.

I'm assuming it was part of a probation agreement or something.

Treadwell is a complete unknown. People are expecting that he'll start to figure it out this year, but they are only saying that because he was a first round pick. The Vikings really need a big body playmaker on the outside who can contest catches.

His BAC was .217, and he was driving. He's lucky he wasn't in jail for a very long time.

And no, you're not allowed to drink in your own home when you're on house arrest.

I've always wondered why there haven't been more athletes who have Castles with Moats. I mean, I won't lie...that'd be one of the first property types I'd be looking at purchasing or building if I had that type of money.
