Campbell came from Tampa?

No. Campbell didn't get the job. Doug did. That's what he was saying.

Bingo.

Well I happen to like Doug Williams a lot and think he'll do a good job and Campbell is still on staff as well.

Jay Gruden will also have more input on personnel decisions which is a good thing in my eyes.

I think we've had a good offseason, especially a good draft and we are continuing to head in the right direction based off the moves we made.

If we can just finally lock up Kirk, it will have been a great offseason IMO.

I see what you're saying but let's not forget that Allen grew up as a Redskins guy and Williams played his best as a Redskin. Later in life they connected in Tampa but they were connected to the Redskins also.

I e-mailed w/ Mike Phillips this morn. He agrees that Scott Campbell got a false promotion and really seems to be getting bumped out. He says he wouldn't be surprised if he starts a new job search.
Campbell has been a survivor--We'll see.

If I were him, I would too. Get out of the boy's club dumpster fire and find a franchise that'll appreciate you and give you the opportunity you worked hard for.

Damn that sucks if that happens because I think Campbell is a really good talent evaluator. It's a shame he's never gotten any say on final decisions because I think he knows what he's doing and how to build a team. That being said, I believe Doug Williams will do a good job as well and knows what he's doing. Doug has a lot of respect from the players.

Who cares? Bruce Allen won his power play against Scot, and now he wants to keep that power for good. Big surprise.

Honestly, Bruce Allen is living off his last name, just like his brother did. That's another thing that isn't going to change. I don't see what the point is in wasting all our breath on that in this forum. It is what it is, let's hope for the best despite who's running the football operations and who our owner is.

Why are we complaining about the FO ? It seems way better than before like it or not .

Seems as if we are bitter about the SM still... Doug Williams is a legit former NFL QB . Does he have scouting experience no? But he knows what a foot ball player looks like and a spirit from a old traditional winning mentality spirit of what a player is as well .

I like the move but either way Jay Gruden the real Gm here .
