Not necessarily advocating we sign him, though I think we could and still roll over the normal amt of cap without compensatory selection impact.

Career: Decker has 8.3 yards per target, 4 straight 75+ catch years as a No. 2 option, and is a good red zone player.

For reference, Randall Cobb is an 8.6 ypt player, Davante Adams is 6.9 and Jordy Nelson is 9.8.

If a player like Decker ever came to GB, would his ypt and efficiency stats increase with Rodgers?

Or do we believe the WRs that GB have are inherently efficient?

This is pretty slick lol

I'd say no. But it's debatable certainly. I was a huge fan of his once upon a time.I think I even called him my favorite player in that draft lol

I think Decker would do very well with Aaron Rodgers. Dude had 13 yards per catch with Vick and Geno Smith throwing to him. I think he'd probably be our #2. Really wish he was cut next year. He would have been an awesome response if we should lose Adams.

Dude had NFL RRing skills in college IMO.

He would legit be a nice fit. There was a Reddit thread mocking the idea already today. But it's not as far fetched as some might believe. Just don't think he'd wanna come here over better options and he's not exactly young.

Absolutely not. Not after Adams' year last year. Decker would be a great addition to the team, but we're log-jammed at WR; especially with a lot of younger guys that need reps and development. Decker should head to Buffalo.

The Jets are letting everybody go...

The Bears let Peppers go...

Same situation.

If healthy and in a vacuum maybe but Rodgers and Adams have a pretty tight chemistry that I doubt would happen overnight with Decker

I don't think the TE will really ever be a No. 2 option in GB. Rodgers has too live of an arm to target the TE that much.

I do think TE is very important to the offense, so I'd buy the argument that he's the 2nd to last skill guy you want to lose to injury.

He would be at best our 4th WR option. This is laughable and would be a bad move for GB on so many levels.

The Packers have enough 30 year old receivers. Eric Decker will catch on an do well with some team. The Packers certainly don't need him.

Go look at their roster. It's pretty obvious what they're doing...
