Yeah he left without signing. He's meeting with the Ravens next. Usually not a good sign when a player leaves without a deal. I heard that the Ravens only have about 5 million in cap space. They might have to give him a multiyear deal and backload most of the money or release or restructure a player or two.

Spotrac had the Ravens at about 5.6 million in cap space including the Pitta release. Not sure if that's accurate or not.

Not quite. This is from a Ravens cap guru who writes for one of their bigger third-party websites:

Should be in the $6.5-7M range after Pitta & Arrington cuts. Would/will reduce by $1.05M if/when Arrington claims Injury protection benefit

For what it's worth spotrac is awful. I wouldn't use them for anything. OverTheCap is the best genera/league-wide NFL salary cap site.

I'd rather have Decker if he's healthy. I'd take Mac too though obviously.

Maclin left Baltimore without signing a deal. He is going to discuss his options with his family. I wonder if another team is going to try and jump in?

I think Maclin fits what this team does better but I prefer Decker as a player as well. Tyrod doesn't seem to be too keen on throwing into coverage and Decker is a lot more of a "go up and get it" type of player in my book. I'd be plenty happy with either.

I think Decker will help us more in the red zone, but I don't think he helps our offense as much between the 20's. Maclin gives us a deep threat that will help open up our run game more. If defenses load the box then we can hit the big play off PA, which is where Tyrod excels. They both would be great additions, especially this late into the offseason. At this point though I would prefer Maclin since we don't have to give up any draft picks. The Jets are trying hard to trade Decker.

It's been reported that Maclin is making his decision today between Baltimore and us.

There's a report saying that we offered more money than the Ravens. Makes sense since the Ravens are strapped for cash. He is likely debating between playing with one of his best friends who plays with a bad organization or going to a team that is one of the best organizations in the NFL. Also the Bills are a run first team and the Ravens were near the top in pass attempts. That could change with Dennison, but I don't see a drastic change. I think the Ravens are a better fit for him.

Well damn...

The Bills are certainly consistent.
