Maybe not a huge story, but as a gay NFL fan I always like to see stories like this. Not entirely sure what "Sponsor" entails.

Let's hope it does not. No need for that.

In one sense this isn't a huge story but in another sense it kinda is. It's good to see this is happening and hopefully other teams contribute to the LGBT community in some way it's a good gesture and I'm glad they did this.

Good for them. I am not part of an LGBT community but my brother is and I have seen first hand the type of stereotypes and mistreatment that he gets so i'm happy to see this from teams of the biggest sports league in the US.

Great idea by their marketing department to help reach a key demographic in their new city. What a moral thing to do.

One could argue that each individual has their own sense of morals, so what is moral for one is not moral for another.

Good for them, though I'm sure in the end its as much about the franchises' bottom line (reaching out to generate more revenue) as it is supporting the community.

I was speaking tongue-in-cheek, this has everything to do with attracting new fans in a market which tends to lean one way socially. No real harm in it, and I'm sure it will please plenty of people.

It was reported a few weeks ago by Barstool and a few other outlets that the Patriots were sponsoring an awareness flag football tournament called the Gay Bowl to support the LGBT community.

Once again the Patriots leading the way.

This is a great move by these 2 teams. Awesome to see this from the 2 organizations.

I wonder how the players feel about it, or if it even matters how they feel about it.

One would guess they feel similar to the rest of the population and are split on it. To answer the second part of your question, no it doesn't.
