Per Kim Jones and Ian Rapoport, the Bears will sign former Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz to a one-year deal. The team has yet to confirm.

He's nowhere near the player he used to be. But the Bears need some veteran leadership for that receiving corps. I wish you the best Victor even with the recent verbal criticisms you've had of the Giants organization.

Not a bad signing for a team that needs help across the board, especially in the receiving corps.

Does he have a lot left? I wasn't expecting everyone to be so excited

If he can't play defense, the Ravens aren't interested this offseason.

Bears trying to bargain bin the crap out of the receiver market this year. Will be interesting to see if it works out. Wheaton, Wright and now Cruz. Lets see if the quantity approach can work out. With White and Meredith, it could be an interesting corps, even if it's not necessarily a great one.

Man the bears really want to stockpile WRs who will struggle to get open.

Kendall Wright (Who is a solid flier but still)

Markus Wheaton who can't get a deal with Wheaties or catch the ball.

Now Victor Cruz who will struggle to outrun LBs.

Of course Kevin White will miss 10-14 games this year and the bears will wonder why Mitchell Trubisky struggled late in the season when he's forced to make starts.

All the best to Cruz. Hopefully he can rejuvenate his career in Chicago.

Giants have been very blessed with some exciting receivers (albeit short lived in most cases) during my time as a fan. Plaxico Burress, Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz, Odell Beckham. Hopefully Engram is the next guy to wow us.

Cruz's criticism of the Giants is that they didn't want to help out his stats and forced him to sit? Confused

who actually would care about that? he was clearly being outplayed by Sterling Sheppard.

How you could leave off all-time Giant GOAT and short-time Eagle GOAT Reuben Randle?

If the guy's healthy then this could be a good signing for the Bears.
