You guys think Thielen is better at routes than Diggs?

Yes.

I'd say they are very close, and both are excelent route runners.

I like Diggs and Thielen as a tandem. Not only do they run excellent routes, they have dependable hands, and play with the right attitude. I think DB's will always make at least one overconfident mistake a game and those two receivers will make them pay!!

Both also have the ability to go up and high point footballs in contested catch situations. That's a trait that's all too rare in the NFL today, IMO.

I think Thielen is a quality 4-5 year starter. I don't see why he can't be a consistent 800-1000 yard receiver. I expect Diggs to emerge as the top receiving threat, he's got to stay healthy though.

I'm confident in Thielen and Diggs as a starting duo.

Thielen: Now that Ive had success in the past and signed a contract and know Im going to be here for a little while, it adds responsibility for me. It adds a little bit of pressure to perform at a high level, and I love that. I love to take that head on, and I have to make sure Im doing the things that got me here.

Thielen led the Vikings with 16 receptions of 20 or more yards last season, and according to analytics site Pro Football Focus, Thielen produced the best passer ratings for a quarterback of any receiver in the NFL on go routes. Out of 39 receivers who were targeted 15 or more times on go routes, Thielen generated a wide receiver rating of 142.8, which was more than five points higher than Amari Cooper (137.2).
