Im anxious to see what Calhoun can do with the added weight. If he didnt lose speed and actually gained some power we should be in good shape.

if by "what Calhoun can do" you mean literally anything at all, it would be a big improvement

Did you also forgot he is on our team. Has worked very hard to improve from his rookie season and we should be rooting for and supporting him.

Naw it's more fun for a-holes to neg him on the internet, right? smh

Because you need to wear rose colored glasses to give a third round rookie a pass for not contributing much his rookie year? Ok.

Not everyone comes into the league, knows what to expect and lights it up. Especially at his position it's hard to get into a rhythm when you're just spelling guys like Mack and Irvin. Some guys need time to develop, learn, get used to the speed of the game, and it seems like that's what he's doing.

i'm obviously rooting for him to do well. but i'm just calling it like i see it. he disappointed his rookie season. look poor against the run and pass. doesn't mean he's doomed as a player, but hasn't given me anything to be excited about yet.

i dont think that sort of observation should be met with such sensitivity...

If it was just about opinions that brought about your comment it wouldn't be a big deal but we all know it isn't.

It's a new year and someone was expressing excitement over changes they have notice in a 2nd yr guy. Like I said the neg was unnecessary.

As an impatient fan who's expectation is for rookies to be pro ready in their rookie seasons?

The observation is fine. It's the impatient negative tone that makes you look irrational.

I know everyone clamors to sign vet players, but I kinda wish we gave Dumervil a look as a depth/backup edge guy.

It's always nice to have a vet in any room, and I think he still has a little left in the tank. Sad he's gonna waste away on the 49ers.

+1 I would of loved Dumervil just as a Designated pass rusher for some juice late in games

Reggie isn't gonna give him 3-5 mil a yr just for that. Not with the cap crunch approaching.

Yeah I know I guess I was envious of the Broncos going 4 deep with Ware Miller Ray and Shaq Barrett during their run

This game should definitely bring some lulz from the Raiders side.
