I'm literally writing about David Irving right now.... and then news about a failed test. That'll be a four game ban for PEDs.

Damn, the failed drug tests run wild on that team.

Looks like he's suffering a case of Randy Gregory Syndrome.

This appears to be PED which is worse, IMO.

Apparently he has "evidence" to successfully appeal it. I doubt it helps. Didn't Lane Johnson say the same thing last year?

I seriously doubt it helps, too.

Anything short of a letter from the NFL or NFLPA saying the supplement was okay to take or promote, I don't see anything that can mitigate this.

But for the record, Lane Johnson was on his second offense IIRC. So maybe a slightly different situation?

The consequences of failing the test are different, but I don't think the level of evidence needed to win the appeal is any less exhaustive.

Only on our DL. Gregory made sense as we knew he had mental issues coming out of college. DLaw and Irving were surprises.

What's in the water cooler in the DL room in Dallas? This has become an annual occurrence.

Unsourced so far - but - apparently he failed the test for taking a supplement that he markets and got approved through the league. It could be a tainted supply or there is a rare chance this will get overturned.

Most likely it upholds though.

My friend went to high school with him. Said he's a good guy, but a bit of a headcase.

Rod M. loves him high character and our locker room loves him. His off the field issues stayed in college.

Gonna stomp any accusations before it spreads like wildfire right here.

He might get suspended for a product he was advertising openly for a company. Sucks but no knock on his character.

This is really interesting to me.

We were only able to get David Irving because he fell in the draft due to character concerns, and then he didn't fit a need for KC so we stole him.

I thought he was going to flame out really quickly, but I have yet to see or hear of any character issues.

I follow him on social media, and most of his posts are about working hard at his craft and family.

Not saying your friend is wrong, but it seems like he's made a turnaround? I don't really know, because there isn't much info out there.

If Lane Johnson's suspension was upheld for a substances "approved" on there own NFL website, very little chance Irvin's is overturned promoting a product. They'll just say the same thing. You have to do your "own" studies to confirm what's allowed before taking any suppliment.

Dumbest excuse I've ever heard. Hey these are the approved suppliment's by the NFL. However we're not responsible for a failed test. You've been warned!!! Do your own research first. Rolling Eyes
