Before you overreacted, I am not saying these were bad drafts, or that I know better. However, I know a lot of times people have strong opinions for who they want at different spots, myself including. Before the draft becomes a distant memory, I thought it could be a fun way to look back at guys you loved and say who you would've picked. Of course, it is quite possible we will look like idiots in 5 years, but I am willing to do so Laughing

I am basically going to go off the draft threads and what I was saying at the time. I am going to give myself a pass occasionally on medical things that I wouldn't have know (like Billings in 2016).

2016 NFL Draft Re-Picks
1.31
Original Pick - Germaine Ifedi
Redo Pick - Cody Whitehair
I still like Ifedi, and was a fan of his, but I had Whitehair higher on my personal board

2.49
Original Pick - Jarran Reed
Redo Pick - No trade up. Stay at 56 and select Jonathan Bullard

3.97
Original Pick - LG Rees Odhiambo
Redo Pick - G/C Connor McGovern

4.124
Original Pick - Traded
Redo Pick - RB Kenneth Dixon
My favorite later round RBs were Kenneth Dixon, Jonathan Williams, Alex Collins, and Jordan Howard; in that order

5.171
Original Pick - RB Alex Collins
Redo Pick - S Kavon Frazier
Frazier was my late round guy last year. Great athleticism, had good range for his size, a willing and good tackler. I saw him as a Kam understudy

6.215
Original Pick - C Joey Hunt
Redo Pick - OLB Travis Feeney

2017 NFL Draft Re-Picks
1.31
Original Pick - Traded back for Malik McDowell
Redo Pick - LT Ryan Ramczyk
I don't hate McDowell, but I was a big fan of Ramczyk and Kevin King. Being the OL guy, I was calling for the LT

2.58
Original Pick - OL Ethan Pocic
Redo Pick -CB/FS Chidobi Awuzie

3.90
Original Pick - CB Shaq Griffin
Redo Pick - CB Cordrea Tankersley

3.95
Original Pick - S Delano Hill
Redo Pick - SLB Vince Biegel

3.106
Original Pick - WR Amara Darboh
Redo Pick - OG Isaac Asiata

6.187
Original Pick - CB Michael Tyson
Redo Pick - CB Jeremy Clark
I loved his size and he looked like he had raw skills to work with on film

6.210
Original Pick - LT Justin Senior
Redo Pick - K Zane Gonzalez
He has a boot, was great at Arizona, and I don't trust Walsh

7.226
Original Pick - WR David Moore
Redo Pick - SLB/LEO Keion Adams
My late round favorite of this year. I love his athleticism (can you sense a theme for my late round favorites?), bend, quickness off the ball, and tenacity as an edge rusher.

2016 class was ridiculously deep in terms of OL talent. If I could possibly know the run on 2nd tier OLs would come as late as it was I'd honestly try to trade down at least a couple of times from 31, knowing the Seahawks already had traded down from 26th. A duo of McGovern and Vaitai could end up just as good as Ifedi and Odhiambo.

If trade downs are not available, then I want myself to go full revisionist:

31 - DE Cris Jones - Bennett injury insurance, dramatically improve inside penetration.
49 - DT Jarran Reed - Rookie who started in the 1st run defense.
90 - S Miles Killebrew - Draft in advance to add depth behind Kam
94 - RB Jordan Howard - Feature back.
97 - G Connor McGovern - I like a McGovern - Britt - Glowinski inside group. Most explosive in the league.
147 - T Halapoulivaati Vaitai - RT starter season 1.
171 - LB Jatavis Brown - Keep Wagner and Wright rested.
215 - LB Travis Feeney - DB convert: big nickel

2017:

Without the need to add Eddie Lacy, outbid Detroit for TJ Lang.

No trade down from 31

31 - CB Kevin King
58 - RB Alvin Kamara - 3rd down back, return duties insurance from Lockett's health
90 - DT Nazair Jones - BAMF along BAMFs Reed, Jones and Clark going forward.
95 - WR Amara Darboh - Kearse insurance
102 - G Isaac Asiata - beef up LG.
107 - S Tedric Thompson
210 - K Zane Gonzales

The rest is...

Seahawks ends up with the most ridiculously deep and balanced DL in the league in 2017 with:

Clark --- Naz --- Smith --- C. Jones
Avril --- Rubin --- Reed --- Bennett

Nascar:

Clark --- Bennett --- C. Jones --- Avril
GG!

Also with the most competitive IOL in the league, but a little short on OT.

I think I was very high on Vernon Butler, Jonathan Bullardand Javon Hargrave, so I think I'd end up with one of them picked. I liked Ifedi (and still oviously do, in the long run) and I felt the Seahawks wouldn't be able to get Shon Coleman or La'Raven Clark in the second round, so Id pick Ifedi first and Jonathan Bullard (with Hargrave 2nd in my board) second. Third round Id pick McGovern, Prosise and Matt Judon in the third round. Then in the 4th, take Kenneth Dixon. 5th round I think Kevon Frazier. 6th round Travis Feeney. 7th round Kenny Lawler and... I dont know what to do with 2nd 7th round pick:

1 - Ifedi
2 - Bullard
3 - McGovern
3 - Prosise
3 - Judon
4 - Dixon
5 - Frazier
6 - Feeney
7 - Lawler

That's very similar to yours. I guess that's why I liked our haul in FFMD that year so much.

Haha, I almost put Judon as well. We apparently had eerily similar rankings that year. I suppose you may have impacted my rankings and visa versa
