TBH I just look for 3 things from rookies in OTA's:

1. Rookies to show up (signed or not) so they can learn the playbook ASAP.
2. Show up not necessarily in game shape (almost impossible with the draft prep travel and visits most rookies go through), but at least in decent physical shape. Coming in 20+ lbs overweight worries me that they can't commit to the year-round conditioning and strength/flexibility training that will allow rookies to hit their physical ceiling teams project for them.
3. Don't get hurt.

Given the only guys playing at full speed are the UDFA and roster depth FA trying to make a name for themselves and catch the coaching staff's eye, I really take any "standout" performances now with a grain of salt. Show it to me in TC or PS vs. 1st team opponents then it's worth noting. Otherwise just show up early, in shape and healthy all good with my team's rookies.

Vikings rookie running back Dalvin Cook drew raves during rookie minicamp. That has continued during organized team activities. Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur said Wednesday on the second day of OTAs that the second-round pick is fitting in quite well.

Shurmur: “He certainly caught our eye in the rookie stuff. Now that he’s in with the vets, you can still see all the things that we saw. He’s a very instinctive runner. He’ll get his foot down and gets up the field. He’s actually pretty instinctive when it comes to who to block in pass protection and he catches the ball extremely well. He’s making good progress.’’

Yeah I loved Marcus Williams coming out glad to hear he's doing well. If he can tackle he'll be a stud.

From the Browns side

David Njocku is looking spectacular his catch radius because of his arm length is pretty insane

Garrett when on the field has been looking as he should

Kizer had made the most wow plays and the worst plays as well

Peppers hasn't been on the field much but as expected his acceleration has jumped out

But overall Njocku has been the most eye popping of all our rookies especially since they're not in pads right now

Adam Shaheen was the talk of rookie camp and it has continued into full OTAs.

We new he was huge, but apparently he is catching everything thrown towards him.

OJ Howard has struggled a little, dropping a few passes.

Chris Godwin has been ballin' though.

I suspect the Dolphins will have no less than 3 Hall of Famers from this class. The rest will merely be All-Pros at some point in their careers.

Charles Harris got some pressures. Doesn't carry himself like a rookie.
Cordrea Tankersley had a pick six.
UDFA Drew Morgan already turning heads.

Apparently there is speculation that Carroo may not make the team. I don't know if he's just not grasping things, but he's been bad. Who knows, Morgan could fight and claw for a spot.
