He played well when he Darren Woodson to play center field, while he focused on blowing people up. He took the worst, and laziest angles in coverage. Why do you think he hoarse collared so many players? Heck they made a rule because of him.

Not true. It seems you have the same memory as many have of Romo, "he is a choker" with one or two plays in mind, ignoring the bulk of his play.

In reality, Roy Williams started playing a safety position where he and Woodson would play the same role.

Roy Williams came into the league in 02' Woodson retired in 03'.

From 02' to 06' he had 17 interceptions and 50 passes defended. Those are elite coverage (convfefe*) numbers, ELITE.

But, yea, you are right he was garbage and it was for all types of other reasons (even false ones, like Woodson's presence. . . ) why he managed those numbers. In reality, he came back after his big contract and was a completely different player and person (his teammates said he was a different guy. . .)

Anyway, ppl feared him, he made big plays at big moments and played with a reckless abandon (a missed tackle here or there) that sparked the entire team, particularly the defense, and made opposing offenses scared. The closest we had to that since him is Wilcox, and Ro McClain at MLB. . . we need at least one of these reckless hitters on our defense.
