Who do we want at 32?

BPA left (we're currently at pick 25)

Quote:
Ike Anigbogu / UCLA / C
Tony Bradley / North Carolina / C
Anzejs Pasecniks / Latvia / C
Jonah Bolden / Australia / SF
Frank Jackson / Duke / PG
Josh Hart / Villanova / SG
Jordan Bell / Oregon / PF
Isaiah Hartenstein / Germany / PF
Jawun Evans / Oklahoma State / PG
Ivan Rabb / Cal / PF

The top-2 centers. Don't really need anything else.

I agree, though if Josh Hart or Semi Ojeleye are there I bet we take one of them. We worked them both out twice.

- Davon Reed, SG, Miami is the pick at 32.
- 6'6", 208 lbs
- 22 years old
- averaged 15 ppg his senior year and shot 40% from 3
- 7'0" wingspan and made the All-ACC defensive team this year

Pretty much your classic 3 and D SG.

SG depth of Booker / Barbosa / Knight / Reed

I really hope we can get rid of Knight somehow...

Barbosa and Knight are nothing to me right now. Hopefully we give Reed a late 1st round contract like we did Ulis.

I mean Barbosa is in the same boat as Jared Dudley, just a vet who the fans love and is still a decent bench player.

Though I wish Dudley was also expiring this year like LB is lol.

How many players under contract?

Bledsoe
Ulis
Booker
Knight
Barbosa
Warren
Jackson
Jones Jr
Chriss
Dudley
Bender
Chandler

They need to get rid of Knight and Dudley...

If you would check the OP, you would know Wink

Quote:
Under contract (13)

19 Leandro Barbosa G 6-3 194
35 Dragan Bender PF 7-1 225
2 Eric Bledsoe PG 6-1 205
1 Devin Booker SG 6-6 206
4 Tyson Chandler C 7-1 240
0 Marquese Chriss PF 6-10 233
3 Jared Dudley PF 6-7 225
10 Derrick Jones SF 6-7 190
11 Brandon Knight G 6-3 195
22 Elijah Millsap GF 6-6 215
8 Tyler Ulis PG 5-10 150
12 T.J. Warren F 6-8 225
-- Josh Jackson F 6-8 207
-- Davon Reed SG 6-6 220

Free Agents (3)

21 Alex Len C 7-1 260 (RFA)
14 Ronnie Price G 6-2 190
15 Alan Williams FC 6-8 260 (RFA)

So that's 13 under contract, you gotta think Millsap won't stay on as his contract is not guaranteed.

And yeah, as much as you would like to get rid of Knight you probably can't unless you attach future picks to him.

Dudley you could probably trade, but at this point he's our 4th "big"

Bledsoe / Ulis / Knight
Booker / Barbosa / Reed
Warren / Jackson / Jones Jr
Chriss / Dudley
Chandler / Bender

We have another pick that we got from Toronto for PJ Tucker coming up soon...I'd like to see a rebounding big

Jonathan Motley with #54 anyone?

6'9 PF out of Baylor. Offensively minded and was one of the best 2-3 players in the B12 this year.

Yeah, I'm hoping Bender can put on some weight and play C but that's how big men get injured. I'm definitely giving Sauce 2/20 over Len 4/60 or whatever.

Oh definitely about the 2nd part. The issue is if some team offers him more than 2/20, do you match?

Bender at C is offensively by far his best position. He's in no way a SF like we tried to do last year. If he can put on some weight, he'd be a terror for opposing centers, and he has good length and quickness on defense.

@ShamsCharania
Sources: Phoenix is selecting Alec Peters with the No. 54 overall pick in the NBA Draft

- Offensive minded PF

- 22 years old
- Averaged 22.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this year
- Shot 36.9% from 3, 88.8% from the line

He's probably going to get that.

I can't remember where I read it but it said he was one of the most underrated, undervalued free agents to be.
