Middlekauf is suggesting that it's a lack of cash that's delaying the contract extension for Carr. Might be some truth in it I guess. |

He is trying to up his periscope views.
The deal will get done after we get all the other guys signed. People all seem to remember the "after the draft" quote but not the quote from Carr about being willing to wait til all the other business is done and being confident it will get done. This is a non story.

I expect us to carry 4 RB's this year and I also expect us to move on from Taiwan Jones.
I think we will use 2 RB's for the power RB job and 2 for the elusive, change of pace role.
Marshawn Lynch will be the starting RB and he will be the main power RB.
Elijah Hood will be Lynch's back up IMO, he will come in here and there to give Lynch some time to refresh.
Jalen Richard will be the primary small RB with DeAndre Washington as his rotational pair.
I would expect
Lynch to take around 45% of the RB carries
Richard to take around 25%
Washington to take around 20%
Hood to take around 10%
Shalom Luani and the UDFA S's should battle for Taiwan Jones's ST spot. _________________ WIN LOSE OR TIE...RAIDER FAN 'TIL I DIE!!

4 true RB's plus Olawale or are you assuming he doesn't make the team? I see Olawale, JR, Wash, and Lynch. Hood on the PS and Jones cut. _________________

^^The 4 RBs and Olawale, imo. Jones cut.
Jones is in the final year of his contract and can be cut with no dead money. A WR or DB can fill his ST role for cheaper. _________________

I can honestly say that what I saw was our Offense underachieving and play calling suspect at times. The Offense got some great stats but DC's 4th quarter comebacks were because of the earlier problems. If we get the running game squared away then I'd expect the Offense to reach another level and Carr winning MVP.
The Defense will get more rest with minimal 3 and outs. TE coverage added Obi but LB upgrade will need to assist. Our DB's are ok but good at getting takeaways which gives the ball back and records are broken on Offense.
Yes it's optimistic but DC I expect to be even better after not being able to help the team in the playoffs. The contract is no biggie as we can make cuts with RB Jones, T Howard etc and I want to see any June cuts at LB before we tie up cash. DC will get PAID and the structure of that contract will depend on any last minute changes. |

Who are the other two?
I'd assume Moss and Johnson. |

looking for Amari to make a huge jump and dominate this year. His numbers may never be all that huge, because we have so many other weapons and DC likes to spread the wealth, but in terms of taking over games in big moments, I see him being that guy this year. |
