Here is my board for 2018, not necessarily if I have the Bears, as I doubt they take a QB.

1) Sam Darnold, QB, USC
2) Christian Wilkins, DL, Clemson
3) Arden Key, OLB, LSU
4) Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
5) Connor Williams, OT, Texas
6) Derwin James, S, Florida State
7) Minkah Fitzpatrick, S/CB, Alabama
Cool Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
9) Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame
10) Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU

We can make this the 2018 draft prospects thread, if admin's want Laughing

I really disagree. Connor Williams would have went top 5 this year, James > Jamal Adams, Key is Leonard Floyd on steroids (not literally), Rosen & Darnold > Trubisky, and had the Browns had a chance for Wilkins this year, I think they take him over Garrett

Thankfully after us drafting a franchise QB the OT class looks really good...

Connor Williams at Texas is outstanding, Mike McGlinchey at ND & Orlando Brown at Oklahoma would all have been the first OT taken this year...

I like Cameron Sutton if we are still looking for a #1 WR...

The idea of Arden Key coming off the edge opposite Floyd is downright scary...

Christian Wilkins is an out and out beast in the trenches.

You mean Courtland Sutton? Cam was a CB taken by the Steelers this past draft

Agree, the OT class has a ton of potential so far. I'm sure there will be people I haven't heard of fly up the board.

Wilkins is a prize if Hicks isn't retained and Goldman continues his injury woes. Or someone would be willing to trade for him even if Hicks is extended, Golman starts all 16 and Bullard thrives. Doubt he is available when we pick though either.

I like Fitzpatrick much more the I did Humphrey, he is not to the level Ramsay, Lattimore, and Wilson were to me but he can move up dramatically this year of course. Ward will have a chance to skyrocket now that he will no longer be under Lattimore's shadow. He will be interesting to watch vs number ones.

Derwen James has a ton of promise. While I still am against a safety top 3 if we have a decent season and are 7-15 then he would be well worth the bill.

Sweat has good size and would be fine transitioning to OLB IMO. He is the number 2 rusher behind Key to me.

The OT class is stacked if everyone who should declares does.

It would make a ton of sense for a team bringing along a franchise QB to add a stud OT.

The nice part about Brown and McGlinchey is that they both have starts at RT. You could play them there is you like Leno and re-sign him or they can flip to LT.

I absolutely LOVE Connor Williams out of Texas. He'd be a perfect fit schematically with what we're trying to do up front. After Trubisky has sat and groomed for a year you put him behind a line containing Kyle Long, Cody Whitehair, Josh Sitton, Conor Williams and talk about putting him in a position to succeed. Not many top 2 QBs get a line like that in front of them.

Lol this is what I was intending to say when I made my post earlier.

Next year's class is always better until you get to that draft year...right?

I can't wait to hear how Rosen and Darnold have all these questions marks come next January.
