His reinstatement forced the Cardinals hand, here. They clearly had no intention of letting him return to the team.

Will be curious if anyone gives him a shot. He was one of the best Linebackers in the NFL during 2012 and 2013, but three years out of the game (not to mention his off the field issues) may steer teams away.

I'm inclined to think someone will give him a one-year prove it deal for the vet minimum... but we'll see

Bills make sense from a need standpoint but McD has stated repeatedly how much he values character so I don't see it happening here.

Got to think, given his talent, he would be given a chance by a team. Hopefully his off field issues are behind him.

The Raiders have the worst LB unit in the league.

They should do their due diligence.

I never followed all his transgressions. Without looking, it was a drug problem, right?

If he's in shape and is past all his problems I think he will sign somewhere this offseason

Weed plus he had a domestic violence incident while he was suspended. He pushed his girlfriend and she fell and broke her collarbone, according to the girlfriend.

I love Alec Ogletree and he's shown some great growth over the course of his career so far, but we need to bring in Washington if possible. Rams have been known to take some troubled characters in over the years (not sure if we'd still do that now that Fisher is not here).

Washington has been out of the game for so long, though. But when he played, he was one of the best.

He is better than any option we have in Oakland. Bring him in Reggie, our LBs are terrible.

No chance that happens with the direction McVay has stated he's going. Plus we don't have cap space for him we'd have to trade a Vet. Also Wade and McVay have said Tree and Barron are their MLB's, you may not like it but they do.

Considering they used their first two picks on the secondary, I have to wonder if they'll be going to a base nickel defense.
