Last year for the #Bears, undrafted rookie CB Cre'Von LeBlanc finished with the 2nd lowest passer rating when targeted among all rookie CBs.

I would not have guessed that... for those wondering, #1 was Jalen Ramsey.

Ramsey hasn't gotten enough respect for how well he played last year. He didn't get a ton of INTs but he was about as good as Howard/Conklin/Elliott.

Don't even bother defending the Bears roster to people. Year after year they are always down on the Bears to be the worst team in the NFL, this has been the case since they lost the super bowl in 07. This is the first season where it may have been accurate. Once they start winning consistently again we will see the attitude on them change, but for some reason around here, the Bears are always one of the teams that everyone likes to [inappropriate/removed] on, don't know why.

One thing I loved about Lovie is how he would show his teams the negative things the media was saying about them to get them fired up.

But yeah, it's really strange. People forget the Bears were, for the most part, a good team from 2005 through 2013. Their sustained decline is very recent.

Arizona fits into that category too, in the Arians era, prior to last year. I remember a lot of hemming and hawing when Arizona was predicted to be really good in 2015, yet they were coming off of two double-digit win seasons. That team made it to the NFC Championship Game.

Meanwhile, take a look at Dallas around 2010-2013, when they were average at best. They were media darlings.

The following teams are media darlings year-in, year-out, regardless of how good or bad they are:

*The entire NFC East. MAN, the NFL jumps through hoops to overhype every team in that division. Even a few years back (2013?) when the winner of that division was like 8-8 or 9-7, they were a hype factory.

*Every other NFC North Team. The Packers are dominant, but there's always so much intrigue over Minnesota or Detroit taking the "jump," similar to the hype over Dallas a few years back.

*Baltimore and Pittsburgh.

*New Orleans, though I feel like this one is quickly starting to wear off. The Saints were viewed as a powerhouse for way too long after their Super Bowl win.

*Indianapolis.

*New England, but well-deserved.

*The Chargers.
