Rooting hard for Connor Harris, Dylan Donahue and the CB Clark whose enormous. Aside from that I don't really care. We are set at WR. Hopefully we can keep Charon Peake as well. I really am hoping we found some late round and UDFA gems. _________________

hoping Firkser can be our starting FB in the mold of Kyle Juscyzk (however you spell it). |

This and hoping for someone like Ben Braden to become a hidden gem at LT. I think I'm rooting for Shell the hardest. I want him to lock down the RT spot. _________________

I think Clark probably opens on the PUP list? _________________

yeah that is likely. hopefully he fell because of just the injury and turns out to be a real athletic freak if he heals up properly. _________________

I won't go into the full depth chart, but I'll post the new names I think has the skills to make it.
Patrick Gamble
Gabe / Cannon
Donahue (Competes for starting job)
Firsker
Leamon (Maybe as a PS, not sure yet.)
Connor Harris ( London Fletcher-ish)
* Preseason FA pick up at TE
Jeremy Clark (Makes it during the season) _________________

If we will be running more of a 4-1-6... we don't need as much ILB depth, maybe allowing more room for a WR. |

True...Lee might actually be perfect for that, I just having an authoritative LB in the middle that sets the tone...I don't see that at all with Lee but maybe his sophomore year he drastically improves. He has to get stronger though, he reminds me a lot of Vilma in the middle in 2006...getting swallowed. _________________

I read that they might try Connor Harris at FB. I hope not. I think he could a good ILB
I hope Leamon makes team. If he does he could be the starter by year's end. That last part is just wishful thinking but I'm still concerned over our LT position
Estime, WR from Syracuse is a return specialist. He might have a chance if he shows enough return ability in preseason. Marks and Cannon have very little return experience so if we carry a 7th WR, it might be Estime.
I also believe that if Petty doesn't progress and Hackenberg wins the starting job that Petty could be cut. A couple of big ifs but why keep Petty if he's not going to be our starter? McCown is being paid 6m so I'm pretty sure he's not going to sit on the sidelines in plainclothes. Practice Squad or injury reserve might be where Petty winds up.
None of our TEs scream starter. Unfortunately I think we're stuck with them. If Leggett or ASJ show anything it won't be as an in-line TE so I think we keep the best blocker out of Bowman, Tomlinson, Vander Laan or Parker. |
