Good for Jay. From NFL QB to FOX's #2 crew. I can't wait to hear how he does

Pretty awesome... should be a solid chance that he's calling week 1 for us. I'd love to hear his insight to our offense/team/playbook.

His first game will be Bears/Titans in the preseason

Awesome, I've always loved his on-camera personality, I am looking forward to this. Wish he had a chance to play for the Texans, though.

Yeah, he always seemed to be a pretty funny guy. Dry sense of humor though, not sure how well that'll translate. He must have really blew up that interview for him to move into such an important slot so quickly.

Hate that no one signed him. He has more to offer than half the qbs that got signed. But at least I can still see him on tv

How awkward is it going to be for Joe Buck when Cutler walks into a meeting room and sits down next to him?

I found it weird that no one took a chance on him, too. Maybe all the young QBs, both this year and next, had something to do with it? People still don't know what's going to happen with Cousins and Garrapolo, too...

It might be worse when he sits in the room with Terry Bradshaw

I think he could be really good at this. Understanding the game and being able to do it in real time at field level are two different things entirely. He's clearly a smart guy and understands football concepts better than most. Having even made it to the NFL suggests that and that he was an NFL starter for over 10 years with at least moderate success only confirms it.

It's a sad day to see one of the best QB's in Packers history retire. I had such fond memories of him. He would always hit a wide open Packer in stride for electrifying TD's. I'm truly going to miss him.

Maybe worry about having one of the best QB's in history and winning 1 Super Bowl because your front office is so inept.

I wish the title of this meant they were making a cartoon about Jay Cutler and putting it on fox

Don't confuse Ted Thompson with the front office as a whole. Every guy we lose goes on to do great things. McKenzie, Dorsey, Schnieder ect. Next in line is Eliot Wolf (TT successor) and Brian Gutekunst, and the Bears foolishly passed on both in their GM search.
