This is what WE DO!
(or at least what I do)

*Houston picks #3
*Cleveland picks #7

2018 Free Agency:

Jimmy Garoppolo QB
Kyle Fuller CB

2018 NFL Draft:

#3--Derwin James FS Florida State
#7--Saquon Barkley RB Penn State
2nd--Parris Campbell WR Ohio State
2nd--MJ Stewart CB North Carolina
2nd--Jamarco Jones OT Ohio State
3rd--Donnie Miles SS North Carolina
3rd--Chad Thomas Miami Fl.
4th--Micah Kiser MLB Virginia
5th--Josey Jewel MLB Iowa
6th--Chris Herndon TE Miami Fl.
6th--Austin Proehl WR UNC
7th--Mike McCray MLB Michigan

QB: Garoppolo/Kessler/Kizer
RB: Barkley/Johnson/Jackson
FB: Vitale
WR: Coleman/Britt/Campbell/Higgins/Louis/Proehl
TE: Njoku/DeValve/Herndon
LT: Thomas/Coleman
LG: Bitonio/Drango
C: Tretter/Reiter
RG: Zeitler/Drango
RT: Jones/Johnson

LE: Ogbah/Nassib
DT: Shelton/Brantley/Ogunjobi/Meder
RE: Garrett/Thomas
WLB: Kirksey/Alexander
MLB: Kiser/Jewel/McCray
SLB: Collins/Schobert
CB: Haden/Stewart/Fuller/Wilson/BBC
FS: James/Kindred
SS: Peppers/Miles

K: Gonzales
P: Colquitt
KR: Peppers/Coleman
PR: Peppers/Louis

I know, it's way too early but I have important school stuff to do & decided to do this to procrastinate. I'd blow Satan to get Derwin James on this defense though.

I predict Tom Brady shocks the world and retires, JG remains with the Pats, and Hoodie comes out of it looking like a genius.

That in itself will kill your mock, sorry.

I rather have Kizer year two then Jimmy G tbh.
Barkley will go top 5. If we want we'd have to trade up.
Barkleys going to break the Sparq score lol
I say Kizer shows just enough they pass on QB. If this happens we have to make sure he succeeds and surround him with premium talent.

Barkley
Guice
Kirk
Sutton.

One or two of those guys would be beast

By this time next year, that's going to be viewed as a value. Book it

Hey, I REALLY hope you guys are right, but I couldn't disagree with you more.

Plus, it is a YUCK pick until he proves me wrong.

Just like JT Barrett shouldn't be the starting QB this year until he proves me otherwise if their goal is to win a B1G title and do anything at all in the playoffs.

Also as long as Collins and Kirksey is on the roster and they are healthy, I dont think they will be drafting 3 LBs. Only way I can think of them drafting that many LBs is every depth LB is just garbage. I dont see that tho. I think Davis and Schobert will be solid back ups this year when they see the field. Sucks those two really want see the field that much unless of injuries. I see Kirksey and Collins taking about 90% of the snaps. I honestly dont see Collins leaving the field unless something happens to him.

Having Houston's pick as #3 is very wishful thinking. They were a playoff team last year and have Watt coming back. They added an unknown in Watson and some backfield help with Foreman. They are favorites in a weak division. 8-8 is about the worst I can see. Also, two OSU guys? I think the nerds have it written in their mission statement not to draft Buckeyes. It's a Browns thing.

yeah they were a playoff team last year but not a very good one.

https://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/points-for-and-against/2016/
look at their point differential

they were the 7th worse team. Its weird you look at the stat and what doesnt belong is the texans in the playoffs. They played in such a weak division last year. I see the Colts being better and the Titans being better. Heck they wouldnt of made the playoffs if MM didnt get hurt for the Titans.

Texans should of been picking in the top10 this year. Hopefully they wont be as lucky next year.

Talent along on that roster, they won't be top 10. I don't love Watson but he is probably functional enough with those weapons and that defense, to contend for the playoffs.

Believe me I pray I'm wrong, but I don't see it.

Neither do I.

People here see it because they want to see it. Obviously it's a possibility, but a team with that defense is going to be relatively competitive more times than not.

If Osweiler and Savage can get them to the playoffs, Watson has a chance to as well.

Going 8-8 or even making it back to the playoffs again is banking on 3 players being good at what they do: Weeden, Savage and Watson. A great defense will only take you so far if your QB cannot score.

Look at it this way, how many times has our defense stood strong for 80% of the game before they run out of gas?

that is all
