QB: Bradford, Keenum, Bridgewater
RB: Murray, Cook, McKinnon
FB: Morgan/ FB By Committee
WR: Diggs, Thielen, Wright, Treadwell, Adams, Coley
TE: Rudolph, Hodges, Morgan
LT: Reiff, Clemmings
LG: Boone
C: Berger, Elflein, Easton
RG: Isidora, Beavers
RT: Remmings

LE: Hunter, Robison
NT: Joseph, Stephen
UT: T. Johnson, J. Johnson, Floyd
RE: Griffen, Jones
SLB: Barr, Brothers
MLB: Kendricks, Gedeon
WLB: Lamur, Lee
CB: Rhodes, Mackenzie
FS: Smith, Harris
FS: Sendejo, Exum
CB: Waynes, Newman, Sherels

KR: Adams
PR: Sherels
K: Forbath
P: Quigley

Key notes: I think Floyd will return but will need some time to get in shape, so he will start the season 3rd in the rotation and work his way up. Bridgewater on the other hand, I think doesn't play a snap the entire season. Hopefully he's back in 2018.

As for the rookies, I don't think many of them start right away. Knowing Zimmer, he likes to make the rookies earn their starting job, and he's reluctant to giving it to rookies. Surprisingly I see Isidora as being the only rookie on our starting lineup. That's because we are really thin at that position. Isidora looks good on tape and he could be a steal for us. I would consider Elflein there too, but from what I heard from Zimmer, they plan to keep him at Center and eventually have him take Berger's job. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens sometime in 2017. So we might have two rookies on the line, sometime this year. I see Dalvin Cook eventually starting some games as well, especially with Murray being injury prone. Hopefully Cook has an AP type of rookie season and goes for over 1,000 yards. Remember AP was coming off the bench for Chester Taylor in his rookie year.

Predictions: I predict Waynes will have a breakout year. Him and Rhodes can be the best CB tandem in the league next year. I also predict Hunter get 16+ sacks, now that he should be the starter. He had 12 last year and didn't have one start. Our defense will be top 5 again this year. Now for the offense, I predict our running game will be much better. Murray will be fine, and we'll see flashes of Dalvin Cook. That's a pretty good one-two punch and add in Mckinnon for a change of pace, I think we're set. Our passing game will be good too, with decent protection from our new Tackles, and with Diggs coming off a breakout year, I think this year he'll be even more special. A true number one WR, and Thielen is a decent WR too who has great chemistry with Bradford. I don't think our offense will be top ten but top 15 will be acceptable. A top 5 defense to go along with a top 15 offense spells playoffs to me. I think we will surprise a lot of people this year and might even win the division.

My prediction: I predict we will go 12-4. We could've easily done this last year, but the fluke injuries cost us the season. I don't think we'll have the same bad luck this year, and on paper this team is even better than last years. So I think we should be excited about this team. I give Speielman an A- for this offseason. Would've been an A+ if we addressed the WLB need a little more. That's our only weak spot on defense. Maybe Lamur can prove me wrong. We'll see.

Reasonably accurate I think. However, didn't Locke sign with Indianapolis? I have a tough time thinking Clemmings will beat out Hill for a roster spot also. Otherwise nice job! (P.S. I think you mean Remmers not Remmings).

PUP - Sharrif Floyd, Teddy Bridgewater

I think the Vikes end up acquiring a veteran WR and I have no clue who the Punter will be.

My roster is at 54, not sure to keep 10 OL or 3 QBs.

7/11 draft picks on 53 unit.
Looks fair and those are the 4 with best chances.
Both drafted WRs on practice squad
Hope Ifeadi proves himself and wins a spot

QB (2): Bradford | Keenum
RB (3): Cook | Murray | McKinnon
TE (3): Rudolph | Morgan | Hodges
WR (6): Diggs | Thielen | Wright | Treadwell | Adams | Coley
OT (4): Reiff | Remmers | Clemmings | Sirles
OG (4): Boone | Berger | Isidora | Kerin
OC (2): Elflein | Easton

DE (4): Griffen | Robison | Hunter | Odenigbo/Weatherly (can't decide...)
DT (5): Joseph | Floyd | Stephen | Jones | J. Johnson
LB (6): Barr | Kendricks | Gedeon | Brothers | Robinson | Lee
CB (6): Rhodes | Waynes | Newman | Alexander | Sherels | Price
S (5): Smith | Sendejo | Harris | Kearse | Tocho

SP (3): Forbath | Symmank | McDermott
PUP (1): Bridgewater

-----
Notable Cuts:

Taylor Heinicke: The Vikings need to be able to utilize the third quarterback roster spot elsewhere (particularly along the offensive line). Bradford and Keenum is a solid tandem and either Heinicke or Lunt can be called up from the PS in an emergency scenario.

Emmanuel Lamur: Brought in as a former Zimmer player, but the Vikings just drafted his clone in Elijah Lee. The third LB spot is going to be a two down position, so I think someone like Brothers or Gedeon (better against the run) will hold that down.

Antone Exum: Not necessarily notable, but he's run out of chances and the team likes the character and toughness of the new guy Tocho as they convert him to safety. Tocho has the makings of a special teams captain.

Tom Johnson: It's him vs. Datone Jones (maybe Shamar Stephen as well if Jaleel gets up to speed quick). Datone has the ability to also play base end, so I like him to win that battle. This is also contingent on the ability/availability of Sharrif Floyd.

Just an early take with probably too many rookies making the final roster.

Zach Line, currently, isn't on the roster. I don't think we have a fullback this year. Both Bradford and Cook excel with one back.

So far, I think this is the one I agree with most. However, I don't believe Floyd will play again and his spot would go to Tom Johnson.

Solves my one over the limit issue! I agree then, no FB.

There's been talk that The Vikings might sign Michael Floyd, as The Patriots will likely drop him after drafting a very good WR prospect.

Michael Floyd is currently an unrestricted free agent (not on the Pats roster), and the Vikings have already been talking to him.

Didn't they talk to Streeter too?

I personally think there's a good chance that Dalvin Cook is a week 1 starter, if not he will be in the rotation heavy. Which would be different from the previous highly drafted guys who didnt start. If not then Murray will be the starter.

Does the team usually keep 10 o lineman? Maybe with no fullback they will, but I could see Easton being cut. With elfein we have the center if the future and Berger can fill in in case if injury.
