Thought he was going to be a good player.

Really wanted Oakland to take him.

Too bad for the Jets, but at least Robbie Anderson looks promising.

I'm with you. I didn't get the hype for him. I saw a late round/ UDFA type prospect

Right...

What would a one-handed catch, especially against Miami of Ohio, prove though

I thought he was going to be a good player for the Jets. sad that his career has taken a very rough start.

He tracked the deep ball like DeSean Jackson. He was pretty good at tOSU.

Cardale Jones too.

He was one of the best I've seen at high pointing a football down the field. It was amazing. I never thought he offered much more than that, but damn, he was great at that.

Heck, he basically played with a QB who had a legit NFL arm for 3 games with Jones. When that happen it really showed how great he was of a WR. In reality he didnt make JT relevant tho. Marshall and Thomas had good years that year.

I would also say if a WR finishes his career as #5 in yards, #12 in catches, #2 in TDs all time in Ohio State WR history, the dude is pretty talented.

If Braxton Miller wasnt his QB in '13 and '12, he prolly would be #1 in yards at least #2 and #1 in Tds.

I would also say he was more than just a streak or Fade at tOSU. He was just really damn good at the deep play because of his ball skills. So thats only that he gets remembered for.

Feels like we're never going to see what Devin Smith could do at the NFL level.

it proves you can find a gif of literally every player having a good play.

Here's one with Ted Ginn burning prime Darrelle Revis (thrown by Chad Henne no less):
