I think it's safe to say he's a bust.

After being a 2nd round pick in 2015, he managed just ten receptions in two years, and now this. Sucks for the kid, but I don't think the Jets will be missing him much.

Didn't he also tear his ACL last year? Same knee even? Dude has been snake bitten since entering the league (started with getting drafted by the Jets), not really your typical bust... well injury bust, sure.

The curse of the Jets 2nd round draft pick continues.

I mean he only played 10 games before his first tear, so it was too early to tell. Ryan Fitzpatrick had no idea how to get the ball to him since Fitzpatrick obviously couldn't throw deep.

I liked this kid more than Perriman in the draft. Not that Breshad has been much more durable, himself. Kevin White, Devante Parker... has there been a more unlucky class at a position?

Was there anyone who actually liked him as a prospect that year? One trick pony that wasn't very good at that one trick...it sucks that he hasn't even really gotten a chance, but not surprising.

I'm with you. I didn't get the hype for him. I saw a late round/ UDFA type prospect

Man, at least Perriman has over 60 receptions in the NFL. Compared to Devin Smith and Kevin White, that's a decent start to his career.

This sucks for Smith, though. With the WRs the Jets drafted, he could easily find himself the forgotten man, whenever he gets healthy again.

A bunch of people used the laugh emoticon reaction thing on the NFL Facebook page. Is there a reason to dislike him?

No, he's a good guy despite being from Ohio State. Wink

I mean that was kind of happening before since Robby Anderson (2016 UDFA) has basically become the player that Smith was supposed to be when the Jets drafted him. Except Anderson is even more talented than Smith ever was. And know with Hansen in the fold as well, Smith is probably done as a Jet.
