Compares athletically to Noah Spence and Shaq Lawson last year.

Very, very strong! Needs to hone technical skills. Diamond in the rough. Could be a real "steal" if he responds well to coaching. Another great pick.

OVERVIEW
Ifeadi Odenigbo (if-AH-dee o-DEN-uh-bo) came to Northwestern as one of the top recruits in the country, even though as the son of Nigerian immigrants he didn't participate in football until his sophomore year of high school. Statistically, Odenigbo made an impact as a pass-rushing specialist in his first three years, bringing down the quarterback 13.5 times among his 29 tackles in 36 games from 2013-2015. He may have made a similar impact as a true freshman in 2012, but redshirted after suffering a season-ending injury in the opener. Odenigbo bulked up for his senior year, allowing him to garner honorable mention All-Big Ten accolades (22 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles). He even got to play against his younger brother, Tito, who is a rising junior defensive tackle for Illinois.

DRAFT PROJECTION Round 5-6

BOTTOM LINE He's not a skilled pass rusher, but his power and developing spin move are traits worth working with. Odenigbo produced a quarterback pressure rate higher than Sam Hubbard, Taco Charlton and Garrett Sickels. Odenigbo will need to prove he can handle some run-stopping duties or sticking around for very long could be tough since he's not a classic edge-bending specialist.

Can honestly say I never dug into this kid other than a Minnesota game. Didn't think he would get drafted. Hoping for the best!

Did a report for NFL teams on Ifeadi. This was the Vikings best pick. DM me if you have questions, I know Ifeadi and his agent, I wish he would've gone higher. He is Noah Spence, congrats Vikings.

Wow. Thanks for the report! He was a guy that I noticed climbing higher and higher as I put the aggregate board together.

Just watched his cut up against Iowa Shocked

3 sacks (one he got away with a face mask) and the pressure that forced the game sealing INT. Lined up on the left and right side and routinely walked both Iowa tackles back into the pocket and if Northwestern had any interior pass rush in that game Beathard would have been killed.

Showed good power, and a workable spin move. Could have something here.

I'm really liking the tea leaves on this pick. Worth noting that he's not a force player

Force players is close to what I do (Density Adjusted Power) his score was basically identical to Noah Spence. This guy is a late 1/early 2 guy all day long and I say that with complete confidence. Insane value for the Vikings. You guys got a very good player.
