There is always a hope that Roulier takes over at OC and pushes Long Back to LG,After reading an article on the official site about Sprinkle it seems to me that he does everything that Paul does plus catch the ball better.Looks like the end for Paul. They talk about his inline blocking skills.SO maybe the run game will improve slightly forcing JG to run the ball more. If 6'1 Niles Paul made the team over a draft pick with a lot of potential in Sprinkle, that really would have said a lot about this coaching staff.

The FO gets so mcuh flack about their blunders, but this would be a big blunder on the part of the coaching staff.

The only way I see Paul or Carrier making the team is because of special teams. It's clear that Sprinkle is the future at TE and unless something crazy happens he'll make it. The other two haven't been able to stay healthy so that also will probably weigh into the decision.

Depending upon how many running backs, offensive lineman and WRs we keep will depend upon if Carrier or Paul make it and I think they would mostly make it because of their special teams abilities. Although, I have heard that each of them have looked great also and had some spectacular catches.

It just remains to be seen how the #s work out. For me, I'd take Paul and his special teams ability over any of the running backs we may keep as a 4th back or another wide receiver. I still believe Paul is one of our best special teams players and at this point it's going to be hard for a young guy to beat him out of that's the position they're competing for.

Only if the Skins gave him a $3000 Harris Teeter gift card at signing first.
