Love our draft our secondary is finally remade! Garrett we trust. Can't believe some of y'all actually thought about firing the red god

CB - Anthony Brown
CB - Chidobe Awuzie
CB - Jourdan Lewis
S - Byron Jones
S - Jeff Heath
S - Xavier Woods
S - Kavon Frazier

None of them over 25 or under contract for less than three seasons.

That's a group to feel pretty good about.

Assuming they all turn out to be average to good players...yeah, definitely a lot to feel good about.

Now if our DL comes together and Jaylon lives up to be even 80% of the player he was in college...

I would have preferred Woods to Switzer actually in rd. 4. Apparently some of the Cowboys decision makers did too. Glad we got them both. Switz may not have lasted as long as Woods did.

Love this pick, but the only concern would be having so many rookies on the field on defense at the same time... growing pains will happen, but in a few years BAMMM

One of the things that helps is in general you can trust rookie corners more then others because their assignments are simplified when playing man on man.. just basic cover him all over the field... Safeties is different that is why I think we will see more of Brown as a safety to start rather then Awuzie I would imagine. Plus we still don't know what to expect from the two FA's...

I can see us hope we are playing these five

S - Anthony Brown
S - Byron Jones
CB - Chidobe Awuzie
CB - Jourdan Lewis
CB - Scandrick

against 4 wides by the end of the year.

with Woods even getting in their so Brown can play CB over Scandrick... though three rookies on the field at once is real scary.

With Heath, Woods then Frazier being the next man up.. and as a starting four

Brown, Jones, Awuzie and Scandrick.. though if Lewis faces no legal problems and is as good a cover or weeds developes as advertised then either one might put Scandrick to the bench..

But we have the preseason to work things out..

Apparently one of the best value picks of day 3. I like it, but I don't have high expectations. Maybe he proves me wrong though.
