Just kicking it off ...

Repeat from the day 2 thread:

Quote:
What's next? 2 5th rounders and 2 6th rounders left. Would not be surprised to see the Chiefs package them again and move up. A package of the two 5th rounders could get them back into the mid-4th round, a package of a fitfth and a sixth could move them up by about 10 slots.

Some thoughts:

ILB: Ben Gedeon (saw him mentioned in some Chiefs mocks), Blair Brown
CB: I have no clue, but if this class is a great as dorsey said there should be someone there.
TE: Kittle? Hodges? The latter would fit the mold of a developmental player. And he's huge. Butt dropping due to his injury??
OL: Quite a few out there, some with a low 2nd/high 3rd round grade. Siragusa, Isidora?

Wouldn't even rule out they go for a backup QB if a guy they like drops.

Stinks not having a 4th today. Will be interesting to see today with these picks do we go need or stick to bpa. I would like to see us give LB Boulware a shot the kid from Clemson. Didn't test well and they all talk about his limitations but I would take a chance on him late. Could see him as a ST standout at the very least right out of the gate.

I'm all for pulling trigger on a K late too if Gonzalez is still there. I think he's better than Aguiar who bucs spent a 2nd on a year ago.

Would love to get TE Butt from Michigan but see him going 4th.

A few defenders on board would love to see but don't see any lasting to 5th much less our pick in 5th.

QBs still on the board and if one falls could be too much value to pass on late in draft.

I'm sure Andy has a couple of bigguns targeted for the OL today.

Only 4 picks left. We need a DT, CB, OG and ILB in no certain order.
DT: C.Walker, DT Jones, S.Tu'lkolovatu, might be left
CB: J.Myrick, B.Allen
OG: Siragusa, Dunker, E'luemunor, Braden
ILB: B.Blair, B.Gedeon, H. Langi
oops, 5 left?

Would like to see us spend a 5th on K Zane Gonzalez if he's there. I know we worked him out.

could be salary cap strategy, less people to sign.

None of the guys this late will matter to the Top 51. Salary cap shouldn't matter.

I don't like this pick.
