If you were the GM, how would the draft have gone for you?

Round 1: Kevin King, CB, Washington
Round 2: Jordan Willis, Edge, Kansas State
Round 3a: Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson
Round 3b: Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan

Jordan Willis
JuJu Smith Schuster
Eddie Jackson
Cam Sutton

If you follow the draft order it is harder than it looks!

1. TJ Watt, OLB
2. Alex Anzalone, ILB
3. Chad Hansen, WR
3. Desmond King, S/CB
4. George Kittle, TE/HB
5. Brian Allen, CB
6. Ejuan Price, OLB
7. KD Cannon, WR

I modified mine. Decided to go with George Kittle in 4 and bump up Hansen and King instead of taking Hendrickson in 3.

Ejuan Price instead of a LS. LS's are a dime a dozen and we needed Edge rusher(s) . Colbert wasted a pick there IMO, and what else is new.

Could have signed Revis and saved a CB pick too but everyone thinks Revis is done Shhh

I would've went:

1. Budda Baker S
2. Tarell Basham EDGE
3a. Cam Sutton CB
3b. Carl Lawson EDGE
4. Wayne Gallman RB
5. Bucky Hodges TE
6. Marquez White CB
7. Chad Kelly QB

1) Reuben Foster ILB
2) JuJu Smith-Schuster WR
3) Carl Lawson OLB
3) Jake Butt TE
4) Marlon Mack RB
5) Brian Allen CB
6) Ejuan Price OLB
7) Chad Kelly QB

Probably would've traded one of their 3rd round picks and 6th round pick to Tennessee, who took Adoree' Jackson 18th overall in a slight reach and would have taken OJ Howard

With the way the draft fell:

1. Kevin King CB Washington: should be Reuben Foster - still can't believe we passed on him but I think there is a serious problem with his shoulder.

2. Jordan Willis OLB KState: I guess we'll see him soon enough.

3a. Rasul Douglas CB WVU: double dip on our weakest area to make is strong! I had us taking Sutton in the 4th in some mocks...

3b. Carl Lawson EDGE Auburn: be seeing him with Willis in Cinci. But I like Connors and had us taking him in the 5th. I guess that letter was impressive!

4. Desmond King S/CB Iowa: Still can't figure why King fell and he would play safety for us.

5. Bucky Hodges TE VTech: I think he could be a steal if he turns out to be like the kid in DC!

6. Brad Kayaa QB Miami: I hated all QBs in this draft but if they were going to take one he sure fell to the right spot.

7. Colin Holba LS Louisville: This is where you draft a long snapper... LoL

This is probably what mine would be.

Although after really looking over everything, Im fine with TJ Watt. Foster might be the only player Id definitely take over him, there. There are other players I woukdve been fine with, but there were no players I wouldve done backflips for.

So, yours is close, and here is an alternate one....

1: LB TJ Watt
Trade 2nd rounder and 3rd round comp to move up to 50....
2: S Obi Melifonwu
3: LB Carl Lawson

I cheated a bit with a trade, but I wouldve been very happy with that. IMO, we wasted the 3rd rd comp anyway, so why not trade up with it? Confused

will the bungles have Lawson make us pay for not drafting him, that is when it will tick off the fanbase. Missing a first round pick isn't quite the same as passing on a highly graded player that is still there in RD3 and then having the player be a deciding factor in games for the next 4 years or so.
