According to tmz Gregory failed a 7th drug test, won't talk to NFL officials about it and has basically checked out as far as football is concerned. Sucks that it didn't work out but it's hard to feel bad for him also he only has himself to blame.good thing we got Taco and Irving

He's done. I said he will never play a meaningful down for us and I'll stick by that. His only hope may be if the NFL changes its stance on pot.

I've never card if a player smokes or drinks or needs the company of night ladies to feel whole...

... But if he is trying to get clean and can't then he needs a lot of help. Football can no longer be a concern for him. Getting his life in order must become a priority.

He suffers from bipolar/depression. Weed helps him. The problem is Roger who says Weed is addictive and bad for you but let's NFL teams hand out Vicodin like its candy

Well, that should just about do it for his career, no?

Kid has some deep seeded issues quite obviously.

I don't see him playing in the NFL, I see Jerry trying to help him as much.

If the article is true and his agent no longer represents him and his friends are concerned - then this has nothing to do with the NFL commissioner.

We all have demons. If weed helps him great. But if he's pushing people away it's an issue.

To be frank I am fairly surprised he was still on the team after the last episode

There is...or at least was a talented player there. Just the demons got in the way. I can understand why Dallas held or keeps hold. I'd understand just as well if they walked away.

I feel for the kid, been down that path myself and it's miserable. To call him a POS for the demons is extraordinarily out of line.

I have no sympathy for people who refuse to take the actions necessary to help themselves, especially when you have a guy like Jerry Jones who goes out of his way to help people as much as he does. Further, one of my closest friends suffers from schizophrenia and self medicated for years until he was clinically diagnosed. When he was, he took every action he could to get help and has been successfully living with that paralyzing disease for 20 years now. So don't you ever take a pot shot at me over a comment based on mental illness. Randy Gregory doesn't care to help himself, so I'll be damned if I offer sympathy. Not going to happen.

Yeah cause one guy mental illness story is relatable to every single person. Keep on coming with the "great" takes.
