Drafted yesterday, already a bust.

He's just trying to [inappropriate/removed] people off. I laugh at how pathetic it is. Then he plays victim. It's a fun cycle.

C grade on first impression IMO. Reminds me of Worthy. Gotta reach on the bigs that fall in this area of the draft because the value if he hits is immense. But the odds are Adams doesn't add much.

Still, I''ll gladly add the extra body on the DL with Guion out for another four games. Clark-Daniels-Ringo-Lowry-Adams isn't bad.

No kidding, in my humbled opinion we can add Adams on the list of TT busts at DT - good luck...

Did Adams get hurt since we drafted him to be so quick to label him a bust?

Give the player a chance to at least take part in the rookie mini camp.

If you don't like the pick, state why and provide some substance.

It is OK with me to not like a pick if you have some rationale that is presented.

Nobody does. Haha

I didn't like this pick either. I said Khyri right away.

But I'm not putting him as a bust. Some sharp guys here like him. I'll give him a chance. Just like you.

From Ben Fennell:

DT Montravius Adams (6'4 304lbs) - he's a big fella but not necessarily a plugger. He moved around alot at Auburn - 1T, 3T & wide DE

I don't get where these motor questions are coming from. This dude looks like he brings it every single play. I think he was just getting gassed from fighting off and pushing around other 300 lb guys for the whole game.

The measurables are so similar to Khyri Thornton and Justin Harrell (top 2 mockdraftable comparisons). That's a lot of the negativity- the similarities in body type to two busts.

Agreed. Just watched the Georgia game someone else referenced. He showed some fatigue towards the end of the game but if the ball came anywhere near him, he was either a part of the play or put forth the required effort to try to be a part of the play. Plus, I'd question whether or not he was fatigued simply because he was getting double and triple teamed every other play beforehand AND fighting it off pretty well...

Still, you're talking about a rotational guy. I'd at least start him out as a 3rd down pass rusher. Dude ran a 4.87 40 at 304 lbs...

I love this pick. And what a great move by the FO by attempting to improve the pass rush from inside when the value wasn't there for an EDGE.

Man, the more I watch of Adams the more I like this pick. Might be my favorite behind Williams. He's powerful, explosive, and damn can he move in space well for a big man. They even lined him up at rush linebacker at times. Penetrates really well and can also hold off double teams. I know we've had picks like him in the past but I think this guys gonna be good. Looks like a mix between Raji and Daniels.
