He's a clone of Sheldon Rankins.

Not gonna lie, never watched him play.

Don't like his name.

I liked other players more, specifically in the secondary.

Quote:
The only factor limiting Ogunjobi’s NFL stock is concerns over the level of competition he faced at Charlotte. He dispelled that concern, to some extent, during Senior Bowl week. Ogunjobi showed NFL talent in the drills, ranking amongst the highest-graded players. He is fully capable of holding his ground against multiple blockers, even flashing an ability to make plays against combo blocks. Although he is perceived as one-dimensional, Ogunjobi possesses enough of a pass-rush skillset to be at least a nuisance in that regard at the next level.

The write up from PFF.

So I'm guessing des bryant is gonna get canned tomorrow?

I think they should've waited to see what Xavier Cooper has at 3 tech. They're very similar.

Would've preferred to go DB in that slot, and I have no idea who this guy is, but if there's one thing all good NFL defenses have in common, it's depth on the D-line. If Williams likes him, i like the pick, too.

Why would we axe Des?

He'd look great on this DL IMO.

Wtf has Cooper done?

Des is getting paid a ton and hasn't been very reliable. We have two young players now in Cooper and Larry that are very similar. Des might be the odd man out.

I mean, we have plenty of cap space. Then again, Barnidge was just cut. Still, no reason to cut Des. He's very solid.

Anyway, I've never watched him so I can't say all that much. I'm glad we acquired a DT. But we seriously need some more DBs!

Unless the front office has an office pool related to cap space, there's no need to cut anyone because of salary.

1. Durability/age
2. Salary
3. Several players under 25 ready to play the position.

Just saying it's a possibility, not advocating it.

I think he could be a fine player based on the little I know on him.

Sure hope he and Garrett help push that pocket QUICK. We still have no guys that are reliable in coverage, in a league that generally implements four guys running routes per play these days.

Perfect fit to finish off the front 7. Surprised by how fast he is when he comes free. Wins with hands and not just knifing through like Brantley. What I noticed was that when he got pressure the QB could usually escape outside. That won't be happening with Myles and Ogbah.
