Howie Roseman said the #Eagles believe that Sidney Jones will make a full recovery, but they aren't going to put a timetable on return.

Roseman said the age (20-years old) was a huge factor in making this pick. Increases chances of Jones returning to 100% #Eagles

I was bummed when we missed on Cook when it was so close but this is nice. Was hoping for a franchise RB but that will have to wait until next year.

Seems like we looked into a lot of character guys but still havent taken any with those questions. We will see if we do.

If Douglas is as Baltimore as it seems, I think we'll take the hit on character if they are passionate about the game here or there.

Toughness and showing up consistently on tape being the main theme

I absolutely LOVE Jones as a player. I was one of the first to hype him up. If healthy,, he's the #1 corner in the draft. But... I'm a little torn (no pun intended) on this. I wanted Mixon and Jones does not help Carson Wentz' development. There are also questions if he returns to 100 percent this season or misses a bunch of games. Happy about the pick. But...

Was following this live at work. Couldn't keep it together Laughing

Great pick. Medical records were promising as he is ahead of schedule in recovery.

Jones and Barnett are both 20 years old. They are really young!

I believe both turn 21 before the season starts.

Nice pick, considering he was being mocked in the 1st for the last year or so, pretty great value. Razz

We're just gonna become the Sixers and draft talented players that can't stay healthy.

Explain how a cornerback who allowed 5 TD's his Junior year, had a catastrophic knee injury, and significant off the field concerns reminds you of Sidney Jones.

We'll wait.

Both Howie and Sidney are both saying that the eagles won't rush his return and that this pick is "a long-term investment for the eagles". I wouldn't be surprised if he goes on pup and misses 6 games or even IR.

Someone said something about this being a 2017 2nd for a 2018 1st.

Also... How is the corner class coming out next year??
