with 2 1st's in next years draft... Sam Darnold is exactly what we need.

Does anyone want somebody different?

He reminds me of Christian Hackenberg in 2015.

Pump the brakes.

He may not even come out. Objectively, if the Bills had the #1 pick, would a 21 year old California kid really want to come here or stay at USC one more year? Just a thought.

Brownrigg
Rosen
Allen
Rudolph
Mayfield
Some guy we've yet to hear about.

As strong as next year looks, history shows only one or two of these guys will actually succeed. Tanking is not the way to go.

Hackenberg didn't have nearly as good of a run as Darnold.. Darnold's 1st year was miles ahead of Hack's whole body of work.

Wins over:

#4 Washington
#5 Penn St
#9 Colorado

Notre Dame

Oregon
UCLA

that was all after USC started 1-3 and was on the brink of firing their HC, this was the change he made to save his job.. He definitely did that. If Darnold regresses at all this season I will eat crow Billsguy82[/b]

no plans of tanking, my plan is to trade our 2 first round picks, or if we need to put in more, we do just that.. This kid is worth it. Mayfield is going back to school for his 5th year. Allen, and Rudolph are ehh.. and Rosen is Jared Goff in light blue (UCLA) you wouldn't be impressed.

A lot of good QB's come from California.. just because Trent Edwards didn't work out doesn't mean we shouldn't take a QB from that state lol.

Oh I have no problem with Cal kids, I'm just saying a young Cal kid with all this hype could almost pick and choose where he wants to play. Hard to believe it would be Buffalo is all lol.

if this QB is good he is gonna go #1 and our late round pick from KC wont make a difference
imagine we are at #2 and any other team is #1 why would anyone take a pick in the 20s and lose the best qb

He is a guy to keep an eye on but for me it's way, way to early.

The only way anyone is getting him is if they are picking #1. I see getting Lamar Jackson in the 6-12 range more realistic. This class has the potential to be stacked at QB

A lot of options = I like our odds.

look at the deal for Trubisky today..

If our front office thinks Darnold could be the guy, I am fully expecting the Bills to have a top 10 pick again.. Also a safe prediction for the KC pick would be right inside the top 20. 18-20..

The draft has so many different variables, the team in front of us might not need a QB, and if they are trading the pick, who is turning down 2 1st's plus?
