It honestly seems like this team finally has a plan for building. Aside from going Blake to Lee to ARob, this team hasn't dedicated themselves to an identity and gone after it since Shack Harris.

They want to be big and nasty up front. So you get rid of Julius, bring in Campbell on defense, signed a fullback, and drafted Fournette and now Cam.

Clearly a target they eyed Cam over Lamp its a need and they put pressure on Albert to come get some pay checks or retire big fella the balls in your court.

Yay we did it!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Great value, great fit. Gives us some insulation against an Albert holdout/injury/oldness. Should be able to provide competition at a few spots.

Things are going well.

Part 1 - Get the play-maker you want.
Part 2 - Get the big-bodied blocker for that play-maker.

Yeah, pretty ideal a guy like this fell that far. We go RB with a need to improve the talent on the OL some and we're able to get a guy that most saw as a top 15 type talent.

Interested to see how this all goes down with him and Albert though. Albert hasn't shown up, but it's just been voluntary workouts. If they battle it out and Albert wins, does Cam play RT or a guard spot? Would have to think so but Caldwell never mentioned anything but LT when speaking about him.

I feel like our need is bigger at guard if he loses to Albert

That doesn't even seem like a bad thing to have as a question. He could beat out Albert at LT, or failing that...Parnell at RT, or whoever ends up at LG. It's the sort of addition that can legitimately push multiple positions to an actual "competition". That's what you want really...;

Could you push Parnell to RG and move Cann to LG? Did Albert play some RT in Miami or KC? I thought I recalled that for some reason.
