Solid pick, nothing special but solid all around back that we need. A pick that will actually produce this year at least.

I really like Kareem Hunt. He was probably my 2b or 3rd favorite option for us behind Kamara and Cook.

Just saw we traded our 4th and 7th to move up.

Not sure I like Hunt that much, but I'm glad we got another RB.

Wonder what they're going to do at ILB and CB.

Still have 2 5ths and 2 6ths left.

I came back to wait for the pick and missed it.

Kareem Hunt is a nice pick. He's another Ware and perhaps a bit better. Good size, good hands, quick but lacks long speed. The thing to remember about his is that he's elusive in space. Page link below. Note the line that says "strings moves together".

This is the 18-20 carry a game guy. Bring in Spiller or Hill for a change of pace. To those advocating Kamora, what does he have that those two don't?

I'm very meh on the Hunt pick. Not only do I wish his first name was Mike, but we also already have his clone on the team. Ware is pretty much the same player. 4.5-4.6 speed, above average vision, rarely fumbles, breaks tackles. At best, this is a depth pick and definitely not a flashy pick by any means.

Meh.

I think I'm was the main guy on Kamara, and I like the Hunt pick. Kamara had a little better long speed IMO but Hunt is more decisive. He'll produce for us this year at a position we needed better more production.

No complaints in the pick at all, just surprised we gave up our 4th.

He has a little better deep speed than Ware, but at the same time I'd take a 2 headed Ware backfield. Just punishing runners that will fight for yards, our offense really missed Ware at the end of the year after we wore him down.

Yeah shocked we haven't picked a LB or DB.
Would like to land CB Rasul Douglas and K Gonzalez 😎

I'm going to banging the table for Blair Brown to last till our 5th.

Stunned we haven't addressed that yet, not a whole lot of ILB being taken right now though.

Any CB we get in the 6th would normally be a 3rd Round Talent, so not too concerned about avoiding that so far.

I like Hunt .

Trying to warm up to Tanoh, but I'm still not liking it.

This guy just has to put his hands up and learn when to do it and he will block passes. I watched same game footage he looks huge (meaning tall).

It would seem we are building for the future more than we are the now.

The Chiefs always surprise me.
As I don't follow College football at all, I don't know anything about those two guys other that I never saw them mentioned as potential picks.

What amazes me: The Chiefs left Kamara on the board when they picked KT, only to spend 3 picks to get Hunt a round later. That tells me something about what they see in the guy.

It will be interesting to see how the roster develop, those two picks clearly establish fights for the final spot at those positions already now:

DE: Jenkins vs. Nacho
RB: West vs. Spiller

What's next? 2 5th rounders and 2 6th rounders left. Would not be surprised to see the Chiefs package them again and move up. A package of the two 5th rounders could get them back into the mid-4th round, a package of a fitfth and a sixth could move them up by about 10 slots.

Some thoughts:

ILB: Ben Gedeon (saw him mentioned in some Chiefs mocks), Blair Brown
CB: I have no clue, but if this class is a great as dorsey said there should be someone there.
TE: Kittle? Hodges? The latter would fit the mold of a developmental player. And he's huge. Butt dropping due to his injury??
OL: Quite a few out there, some with a low 2nd/high 3rd round grade. Siragusa, Isidora?

Wouldn't even rule out they go for a backup QB if a guy they like drops.

Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE

True 3-4 DE. Not going to rush the passer as much as in college, but the penetration will make him a great run stuffer. Pretty raw now, but fantastic build, long arms. Mean. Good work ethic. I can cope.

Would have liked Jordan Willis better. Willis is much faster than Tanoh and can cover the passing game. So, Willis can play 1st. down from DE. Other downs I'd let Willis attack the passer from OLB or anywhere along the line. Tanoh doesn't give KC the versatility that Willis does. Oh well, Cincy will be VERY happy with Willis.

Tanoh looks like a life sized Apollo. 290 and 4% body fat? That's insane. Can't say I know Much about him but he fits what we're trying to do here.

Seems the Senior Bowl is still a big part of the evaluation, Tanoh and Hunt had good weeks there.

What I really like about Hunt is his balance, you gotta form tackle him or he gang up on him or hell keep going. He can also pass block and catch out the backfield, you know Reid loves that. 1 fumble in his career, and he recovered it? Nice

These QBs continue to drop one could prove to be great value in the 5th even though not a need.

Some value there at TE and depending on what they think with Harris r cent troubles could be option.

I expect to see an OL picked today

The "Leg" K Gonzalez could be a great pick as well for us.

Unfortunately barring a trade up most the talent that slipped will be gone before we pick late in 5th.
