Front office clearly has more confidence in Clay Matthews' health and continued production than the fanbase does _________________

How can he dig a hole if he's too busy sitting on his hands? |

I don't think they wanted to invest big in this draft in a backup behind Matthews/Perry. I agree with their decision to go DB heavy early in this draft, we got completely slaughtered in the secondary last year, I know people aren't comfortable with what we have behind Matthews and Perry but if we can't cover in a pass happy league we have today, we aren't gonna get far.. We can find a backup edge with our remaining picks, and we have 2 4ths so there's still time to find a gem. |

I had him as a mid-late 2. Plays with power and quick off the snap. Good use of his hands and point. Like most DL, gets gassed and takes some plays off. That happens more in college when teams are running 80-90 plays vs in NFL where it is around 70.
Daniels and Clark will be a really good influence on him (IMO). Those 3 on run downs is really nice and rotation for passing downs. _________________ Salary Cap Fantasy Football League

Also even if he sucks this year Dom isn't going to bench Clay for a 3rd rounder anyways. |

TBH, I am pretty confident in Fackrell and Elliott as back-ups. I am less confident that we can get 32 total starts from Perry and Matthews, and I think that we need to add someone else there that can be that guy that we count on to make spot starts. I am not there with Fackrell and Elliott at this juncture. _________________ GO PACK GO!

I don't want a WR. I like Adams - Allison - Davis with Bennett and possibly Cobb enough going forward with a pick next year. _________________

Gambling on Clay and Perry staying squeeky during the season.
I'm fine with that. Roll with what you know works. It's a tandem that could produce 20 sacks together.
Added some speed in the secondary and depth at DL.
Adams looks like the replacement for Guion. Film looks good and we was an All-SEC player. A lot to like. |

thanks for the info.
I more or less ruled him out early on when I saw the Worthy comps. Let's hope yours holds up instead. You made solid points re: Daniels/Clark's influence. Trg does a good job maximizing his guys, too. _________________
