Quote:
4. JOE MIXON, Oklahoma (6-0 ½, 228, 4.47. 1-3): Third-year sophomore was suspended all of 2014 for punching a woman in the face. “He’s my best back – by far,” said one scout. “He’s Adrian Peterson who returns kicks. Great receiver, not a good receiver. He can line up wide or as a slot. He’s a bigger, better Ezekiel Elliott. He can do more.” With classmate Samaje Perine having established himself, he and Mixon split time past two years. Finished with 300 carries for 2,027 (6.Cool and 17 TDs to go with 65 catches for 894. Wonderlic of 12. “Someone who is succeeding with his style is the guy in Arizona (David Johnson),” said another scout. “This kid has power and speed, and he is really a quality receiver. He’s the type of guy you can leave on the field in pretty much any situation.” Will turn 21 on July 25, three years and a day from his life-altering night in Norman, Okla. “Pass protection is an area he will need to continue working on,” a third scout said. “It’s not from a lack of trying. Just technique. He’s a big, strong dude. He can do it.” From Oakley, Calif.

Somebody is going to get themselves a player. I wouldn't mind it were us.

Kamara might be more realistic.

He's an incredible football player. I don't want him anywhere near the Giants and I'm glad the Giants won't draft him.

Kamara is similar to Perkins and I think the Giants may be looking for someone who offers something different. Perine possibly.

Not arguing mcdowell is inconsistent but if anyone is gonna get the most out of him it would be Snacks. Playing on our d-line and this new attitude the defence has. I think he would shine with us but flop with most other teams

I flip flop on Foreman.

Insanely athletic, big, strong, fast, pile mover. Can't block and can't catch. Not sure if he can make his own, either.

Foreman isn't going in the 2nd so we could get both.

Do we want to use a pick on Foreman when we can sign Blount whenever we want? Signing blount to a 1 or 2 year deal makes most sense for a win now team.

I think we could get Perine in the 5th or so. He ran a 4.65 but he's like a bowling ball. I think he'll pick up the 3rd and shorts and let Perkins handle business early downs.

Blount would be a great pick up, though. And I still want Jared Odrick. Also wouldn't mind a flier on Gerald Hodges and Austin Patzor.

If we finish round three with a solid RB, I think we will be in a good place.

I seem to want LB and RB tonight, but I doubt that will happen

Isn't Foreman like...the 100th ranked guy? Be happy if we draft him in the 3rd, mad if we draft him in the 2nd.

Giants tried to trade up for for QB Patrick Mahomes and were "very disappointed" they weren't able to get it done, per @AnitaMarks.

Wow
