Yep - I would add Mixon to this list as well. Wouldnt be pissed if we took a solid center as well.

I should've added Mixon to that list but completely blanked on him. Also I wouldn't be shocked to see us go with Schuster-Smith either if he's still sitting there.

I think all the ones up top will be long gone when we pick.
Big needs at OL, Edge Rusher, and ILB for teams ahead of us. We probably have a crack at Mixon, who we may end up getting. Hopefully the team did thorough interviews, and he learned from what he did. Can't ever excuse it, but it was three years ago.
I don't know enough to either condemn or forgive the guy because I don't know all the circumstances and how he acts now.

The NfL's Great Jim Brown has been accused and investigated at least 6 times for rape and for throwing a woman off a balcony and yet they still swoon over him. Curious to see how they act when Mixon gets drafted.

This doesn't excuse anyone, but it does expose aLOT of hypocrisy:

Based on E's board, I would love to walk away with any of the following 15. And with the 17th pick or whatever, we should have a shot at them.

I'm cool with those except Mixon and Brantley.

While Mixon has kept his nose clean the past couple of years, I don't want to buy trouble at the most fungible position. I would rather have Kamara in the 2nd or Foreman in the 3rd (if we were going to take a RB).

Brantley is straight up inexcusable.

Cooley was really hyping a Tim Williams. He claims on pure talent and production Williams is a top 10 pick! I would love to snag a legit edge rusher!!

Lamp or Cook would be ideal, but I expect them to both be gone in the first 5 picks.

I'd still want McDowell if he's there.

Depends on whose chart you believe.

If you take the traditional Jimmy Johnson chart, pick 49 is worth 410 points and pick 114 (the first of the two) is worth 66 points. Those 476 points would say that we could only move up to either 42 (480) or 43 (470).

However, footballperspective.com has a different chart created about five years ago, which doesn't have as steep a fall off as you get further in the draft like Johnson's chart does (only a 20.3% decline in value from 33 to 49 as opposed to a 29.3% for Johnson's). The chart is based on AV. In this chart, 49 is worth 9.8 points, and 114 is worth 4.4. That combination would be more than enough to get us above 33 (12.3; ). In fact, since 14.2 is equal to 25th overall in the AV chart, you would kind of expect to get a late 5th or early 6th back to make that deal.

If we look at previous drafts, most GMs still seem to use the Johnson chart (it's "accepted" value so there is little reason to question it).
